I'm not a person that often write reviews but this product right here is the truth. I have never used a foam to define my own natural curls but only for a wig. After seeing a review of this product on YouTube, I had to try it. This foam has the best hold and my curls are still defined and moisturized after 5 days. Plan to keep it on a couple of days longer. absolutely love this stuff! i apply on wet hair and work it in with my hands. i brush through each section with my denman brush and give the section a good shake and let it set/work on next section. after i finish my whole head i gently scrunch out excess water/product with my t-shirt and let air dry. it leaves my hair super soft, shiny, and not crunchy at all! i love my hair even more on day 2/3 and that’s unheard of!

I have loved this mousse for two years now. It perfectly clumps your curls, which is a blessing for the lazy girls like me who don’t have energy for all the raking/brushing/sectioning. It is lightweight and great! The hold isn’t like gel, so sometimes I’ll combine the big poppa gel and the mousse for longer hold.

This is a tough review to write. I love what it does for my hair but I can't use it because I'm allergic to Big Poppa. The first time I used it, I felt a few tingles at my hairline. The second time used it, in addition to the tingles, I noticed some red spots on my face and neck where my hair was touching my skin. I moved my hair off my face, rinsed the area with cool water, and applied hydrocortisone cream, and the redness faded within 2 hours.
