I honestly don't know if this was worth the additional charge or not. We tried it a couple of times and I guess it worked? But it was a little hard to say how well.

Great idea. I was unlucky, the device was delivered late and took too long to activate so I lost two days work. Once set up, it was fine until it ran out of charge…now. It is on permanent charge in my laptop which is also on mains.

Wi-Fi worked great, but the battery kept dying very quickly. Sometimes it would just simply disconnect from all devices and our phone provider took over the coverage. Now I have to pay my phone company for international coverage because of constant Wi-Fi disconnections. But for the most part, it did its job, my family was glad we had it with us. Thank you.

My experience with using the Portable WiFi from Candy Wifi was average, at best. Definitely, not exceptional. When I traveled around Ireland, I had good connection on major roads and major cities. But on some outlying areas and smaller roads, I had NO SERVICE. Also, it constantly went into disable mode and I had to reboot the device to get service. I would NOT recommend it.
