The wifi device we got was faulty but the email response time was so great and they tried to help us troubleshoot it at first but once we realized it was beyond troubleshooting they personally drove over to our airbnb to give us a replacement which was so helpful. Despite the original device not working properly (it would not stay on) the customer service was great and I would use them again.

Ours came with a damaged charging cord. When I reached out to the company they apologized and assured me they would give me some Reimbursement for my troubles in getting or fixing the charger. The customer service is wonderful and prompt. Over all we are happy we rented the candy hotspot, it has helped a lot in our navigating through Ireland. I would recommend it!

I have to say it was really great hanging the wifi candy. Made finding place so much easier and not worry about international rates on my cellphone carrier. Have to say was very frustrated and upset that we paid for 2 weeks and 2 days and the last 2 days while we were in Northern Ireland it did not work which was extremely frustrating.

Service was sporadic in some areas (understandably perhaps as we were in some smaller towns) and the WiFi seemed to shutdown periodically and I’m not sure why (it was not because of low battery). The battery did not last the advertised 12 hours and required recharging after about 4-5 hours and the unit got quite hot as we were charging and using WiFi. Very useful especially for members of our group who didn’t have international roaming. The only negative I have is that the battery ran down quicker than I expected - it lasted about 8 hours max. It would then just turn off and we wouldn’t realize it was dead until nobody could get a signal. I would still recommend it especially if you have one of those plans that charges you $10 a day or something and you have more than one phone - this saved money for sure.
