As long as there was cell service the product work flawlessly. We did have an issue with the charging cable…. But it was my cable, not the one that came with the device. I had it sorted before I read that WiFi candy would reimburse you if you had to buy a new cable. Pretty cool for a company to do for you!! Highly recommend this service!!

So easy to get and use!! I will be using this anywhere I possibly can, it made our trip to Europe SO much easier!! The pick up at the airport was super simple, and as long as we charged it each night we had no issues at all. The service coverage was great, not a single dead spot found. And for returns, they just sent a FedEx label for us to print so we could mail it back from the US, which allowed us to still have wifi at the airport while waiting on our flight. 10/10 recommend

We researched the best ways to explore ireland and this device was one of the best choices we made that made our trip easier. We travelled the entire way around Ireland and this device never lost service. it was perfect to use in our rental car, for navigation. Plus it was even easier to pick it up at the airport and drop it off. We would've been lost without it! plus the battery time lasted us all day.

Our WifiCandy worked flawlessly throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland, even in out-of-the-way paces, like Clare Island and the Aran Islands. The only issue was us...we'd sometimes leave the unit in the car during day trips and, of course, moved too far away from it. Picking the unit up in Dublin Terminal 2 was a breeze, as was dropping in the postal box at the airport when we left. We totally recommend WifiCandy!

Worked great - used it for three devices rather than pay international plans for all. We were able to text and call as normal (enable WiFi calling to do this) and worked great for navigation. A couple times if we weren't using it for a bit it would hibernate and we wouldn't have a connection - this worried me the first time, but just had to hit the button to wake it up, so no big deal. Highly recommend!

We had used Wificandy in Ireland. We were very satisfied to have wifi service wherever we were, including in the middle of Killarney National Patk. So, when we were planning on visiting London and saw Wificandy also had service there, we ordered the portable wifi hotspot. Without the wificandy, service in London was spotty. But with wificandy, we had access to the internet wherever we were. I would highly recommend it.

When US customs didn't clear our shipment in time, the company provided amazing customer service to ensure we had a device waiting at the airport. Twice now I've used wifi-candy & phone-candy while visiting Ireland. Love it! My home carrier doesn't do international roaming so the local phones is handy. And having wifi available where ever I am is a great help. Highly recommended.

If every telecommunications company in Ireland were run like Wifi Candy, an entire subreddit would wither and die because there would be nothing but happy customers dancing and carrying on, with nary a complaint to be heard. Here's your formula: simple product that works; instructions written like somebody cares whether or not you can understand them; willingness to find a solution (customer service); clever packaging (fun). Done. Oh, and there's actual candy, too! More fun!

Had a little trouble with setup, connected but no internet. So could not use it for airport exit and initial navigation out of the airport. But then a little while later it started providing service and worked well the rest of the week. I would purchase the service again.

We were unable to get an eSIM for our phones and this saved our trip. It was easy to pick up and drop off at the Dublin airport with helpful directions. Worked seamlessly with great coverage throughout our trip. Allowed us to get directions and chat/call via Apple and What’s App. Just a couple weaker connections in more remote areas near Northern Ireland which was accurate for the coverage map. Vey portable and easy to recharge. Family of four were able to connect, including Car Play navigation....

This was our second time renting a portable wifi device from WifiCandy. It's very easy to use and the battery charge lasts all day for us, running our phones and tablets as well as using Google Maps (not all at the same time tho). This is my third time using wifi candy in Ireland. It makes our trip so easy. My only recommendation is that the devices don't always last the whole day on a charge. I carry a battery pack, so it wasn't a huge deal, but it might be worth telling others so they don't get stuck with a dead device trying to navigate back to their hotel after a night at the pub. Also, let them know to bring the charging cord, as it is a micro USB, not the more commonly found USB-C plug.

We had wifi whenever and wherever we went we kept in touch with work, school, friends and family even shared events like tours, parades and festivals with loved ones back home without wifi candy our lives would have been chaotic it would have been flat out impossible to do any of what we did and stay in the places we wanted to with a conventional roaming plan. This is the second time we've used the service, and there's a reason for that: the first time was excellent. It was most useful when we had to resort to Waze because our car's GPS was useless, but it was also useful in using Google Maps to walk the cities and towns we visited. Pick up and drop off at the airport went smoothly-easy to do. For our next trip (which we will definitely do this year), we will use the device again.
