We loved using Wifi Candy. We didn't have to mess with changing data plans, SIMS cards, or any of that. We left our phones in airplane mode and used the Wifi Candy for everything. It took us across the country from Dublin, to Killarney, to Galway and back. Not once did it lose service. We used it to navigate on our map app across the entire country. We could call, text, and Facetime as usual using it. It was easy to pick up and drop off. Highly recommend.

We explored the entire island including Northern Ireland for 12 days with our WIFI Candy and could not have done without it. It worked almost flawlessly and allowed GPS directions, communications back home to Louisiana during Hurricane Ida, emails, text messages, internet searches and bookings, and facetime. This was our second time renting the device and it is 100% worth it. Super easy to connect and very convenient.

No need for an escort across the Healy Pass linking Counties Cork and Kerry on the Beara Peninsula in a very remote area. The Wifi Candy coverage map indicated that this area was sparsely covered, but we did not find that to be so - the Candy took us everywhere we wanted to explore. Worked great - used it for three devices rather than pay international plans for all. We were able to text and call as normal (enable WiFi calling to do this) and worked great for navigation. A couple times if we weren't using it for a bit it would hibernate and we wouldn't have a connection - this worried me the first time, but just had to hit the button to wake it up, so no big deal. Highly recommend!

We had wifi whenever and wherever we went we kept in touch with work, school, friends and family even shared events like tours, parades and festivals with loved ones back home without wifi candy our lives would have been chaotic it would have been flat out impossible to do any of what we did and stay in the places we wanted to with a conventional roaming plan. This is the second time we've used the service, and there's a reason for that: the first time was excellent. It was most useful when we had to resort to Waze because our car's GPS was useless, but it was also useful in using Google Maps to walk the cities and towns we visited. Pick up and drop off at the airport went smoothly-easy to do. For our next trip (which we will definitely do this year), we will use the device again.

This is the second time I rented from wifi candy. It is great to have internet access all the time-in both the Republic and in Northern Ireland. If you have multiple people in your party, wifi candy is more economical (and better service) than using your cell carrier’s international plan. The only drawback is having to pay for shipping even if you pick up/drop. Off at the airport.

I was planning for our trip to Ireland and a facebook group suggested wificandy. Some people suggested a SIM card but I’m not that technically savvy. The wificandy was super easy and we never didn’t have signal when we needed it. Wificandy allowed me to post pictures and stay in touch. I would highly recommend!

We drove all over the country and it was great to know that we'd have Wi-Fi wherever we went, especially in the many areas that did not have Wi-Fi coverage. The WiFi system worked great! There was plenty of battery life to use the WiFi modem when walking around sightseeing! We would just charge it in the car when driving, the put it in the purse when we arrived at our destination for the day. Set up was quick and easy! We had four devices hooked up at a single time and did not miss much. It was only a little slower than we were used to for our home internet, so, I feel that that is a win!

My only issue was the pickup location out of the way and hard to find when arriving in terminal 2. Took almost 45 minutes for us to find. Airport information desk had no idea where it was located.

So far so good. The service has been spot on so far on our travels. Service is quick and easily supports 4 devices as our group has all hooked up to the device. Only improvement I would suggest and I could have missed it would be a simple map of the location in terminal one as Excess Baggage sign is partially hidden in the airport. Would use again in future trips no question.
