Very comfortable. I have other shorts that have compression liners and they are not nearly as comfortable and breathable. Only downside ( and this applies to all of these type of shorts) is that if u have your phone in the inside leg pocket and u are doing anything with your legs up (decline beach or sit-ups) the phone will fall out.
