I use these starters for lots of different things. In my last several purchases I’ve been making kits for my 4 Nephews to have for the upcoming Hunting season this year. We have some rough weather at times and we are traveling this year and I’m wanting them to have extra things in emergency situations. I Love the Bigfoot Bushcraft products and are always going to be my got to.

Used them while camping. The fire starters lit on the first try. They stayed lit for over 5 minutes. Got a great fire going in no time! Great fragrance, too! No chemical smell. Stored them in the tin box. Very compact. Easy to toss them in a backpack and go anywhere. Liked them so much, got some as a gift to give to some camping friends. Great product. Highly recommend!!!

I was unsure of which product to buy, Bigfoot, or Blackbeard? So, I ordered a sample pack of both. From what I have personally experienced, Bigfoot lights easier, stays lit easier, and the products are very easy to select from the website. The storage tin is the same price as Bigfoot, but holds almost 3X as much plugs. I have re-ordered a larger supply of Bigfoot and a spare tin, which I gave to my son for his outdoor needs. The only suggestion or criticism, would be Bigfoot could benefit from...

I love the way you guys present and package your product very simplistic easy to use. The metal tin cup that’s sold separately are fantastic item to package about 25 or more fire plugs. I’m purchasing additional fire plugs along with 3 compact travel tin to place inside my other vehicles so I know I have fire plugs with me at all times.

I finally got the chance to use the fire plugs in the wild. It took a minute to get the first one lit on night one but once it caught it was awesome it burned long enough to get the kindling going. The second night was much better and easier to get started. No more packing newspaper or lighting a paper plate, to get a fire started, or due to high elevation camping and my lighter not working, I will use the fire plugs going forward.

Fire starter made my life so easy this weekend. I could’ve started a fire the normal way, but I wanted to try these out when I went camping and they lit up quickly. It was warmer temperature during the day so the liquid or petroleum that is used for the fuel was dripping when I went to tear the plug apart. It still worked as expected and will be part of all my bug out bags and camping bags in the future.

I love the Bigfoot Bushcraft fire starters. I use them to start fires in my solo, the portable grill, and my smoker. It usually only takes one of two strikes from the Bigfoot ferro rod to ignite the starter. I tried another brand of fire starters a few months ago. They had the petroleum smell and were a challenge to ignite with a ferro rod. I won't buy from anyone else now that I know Bigfoot Buschcraft fire starters are the best on the market.

I recently bought 4 of the fire starters to go with the original I bought some time ago. Planning to buy two more for a total of six units as gifts for my brothers and three sons Got to say I really like them and carry my original in my "Go Bag" I keep in my Toyota Land Cruiser. My 7 year old grandson was able to light a fire after about five minutes of instruction and practice. Great survival tool and I recommend everyone have at least one on hand. Those firestarter plugs seem to be quite handy to have around. They star a fire 🔥 quickly, only need one or two, can start a fire under almost "ANY" condition, are small and compact.......an exemplary product, if I might say so...... now let's see how they work over time.......

The fire starter is a quality product. I have used them several times on my outdoor wood grill. They are as advertised. I bought the 80 pack-starter kit with the tin and ferro rod & striker. After using it about 10 times I bought the 200 pack.

Five stars is a little premature because I haven't tried them in cold, windy, and wet... but in fair weather and with care exposing the fine fibers, they light on the first strike from a ferro rod and then burn for several minutes.

The litlle starter plugs worked well at helping to start our campfires last weekend. They ignited easily and stayed lit for several minutes as advertised. So, so far so good, I like them? Will be taking them to the BWCA at the end of September, where starting and maintaining a fire (in the fire grate) can sometimes be challenging. I’m thinking - expecting these little starters are going to avoid those challenges. Thanks, Dan

These fire starters are the seriously the best I've ever used. I've used them several times in the wet and snowy conditions and they light right up. they have an nice burn time, ~3-5+ mins in my experience. I was introduced to these by a member of my SAR team, many of my team members carry them with us now. Very valuable in the backcountry, and anywhere a fire is needed for that matter.

I am a skeptic so I tried one and set it in an ashtray to light. It went out for a second and I thought, "yeah, figures", then it started up again and burned hot enough and long enough to break the ashtray and burn into the wooden tray I had the ashtray sitting on! Then tried it on a campfire, and worked good.. I am impressed!!

Received this as a bonus from ordering an 80 pack plus ferro and scrapper. Gave this to my oldest grandson with a little tub of pine needles, and small twigs to get a fire going in an emergency. It makes it so much easier and way more effective way to get a fire burning. He breaks them in half rubs them a bit and a few sparks later he has his fire going. Thank you for such great products.
