Bigfoot Bushcraft striker rod is fire! Solidly made with lots of life to be used in the woods. Love it’s rustic look and the massive amount of sparks created with each strike.

I have never been able to start a fire with any of the magnesium bar sets. I could barely even get them to spark. I scanned the QR code and watched the video, then did what it said. I was very surprised I had fire on the first strike with minimal sparks. Really, it was less effort than flicking a lighter and holding it under leaves or whatever. This tin is now in my hunting bag, and I will probably buy more plugs and make a kit to leave in my camper too.

Wasn’t sure what to expect so I dunked a fire plug in a bucket of water. Hard to start a fire when things are wet. Followed the directions and it lit on the first shower of sparks. Very pleased.

Love how easily these plugs start as well as the impressive burn time! The tin holds 25 plugs so if you use half a plug per fire, it's holding 50 fires! The ferro rod is heavy duty and throws great sparks! Definitely worth keeping handy for tinder that is not totally dry.

I didn’t take a video, but I used these twice this weekend at Land Between the Lakes. The wind was blowing fairly hard when I started the fire. I just lit one on the windy side and let the wind blow the flames through the firewood stack. These things are so nice. They don’t stink or get your hands oily. And you get so many!!!

Very convenient and easy to carry. Blocks wind and allows the fire to burn for a long time without continuously feeding it. To be fair I’ve only used it a couple times so I can’t speak on the longevity, but so far it’s holding up really well and would definitely recommend.

I am very pleased with Bigfoot Bushcraft fire plugs and fire starter. I took a plug and ran water over it and got the exterior good and wet. I then took the fire starter and made several strikes. The wood handle on the ferro rod is easy to hold and the striker really grabs the rod and produces a more than adequate spark output. The plug lighted and burned just as described. I even put it out to our Boy Scout Troop Leaders Group Chat!

These are fantastic. Sometimes my little stick stove is a pain to light and these make it so much easier. They are super easy to light and I have enough time to get my fire going before the plug burns up.

I’m glad I bought these. We camp a lot off grid and the weather always changes when we least expect it. They have a sweet smell to them, before you rip it apart and light. I did, dunk them in the snow before testing it out- and my fire is huge. I bought this pack for me, but thinking about buying another for family and keep in our emergency kits for the car- during this winter snow storm we’re having- for “just in case”! Thanks you

The ferro rod and fire plugs are simply outstanding. The ferro rod is the perfect ‘blend’ to throw what can only be described as molten fire with each strike. The fire plugs light with the tiniest spark and last longer than anything I’ve seen before. A half plug will burn for 2:36 and whole plug burned just over 5 min. Used a half plug in the video to fire up a damp tinder bundle a couple days after freezing rain soaked everything. If you gotta have fire, look no further.

My wife has never used a ferro rod before. As you can tell from the video, she is still getting the hang of it, but, after only the tries, poof! Let there be fire! These are light weight, waterproof, easy to light even on a windy day, and for me lit on my very first spark. I'll definitely buy these again, and... The extra thick Ferro rod is robust and easy to use. Great product y'all!

I've been using these Firestarters for the last few months on all my camping, hunting and hiking trips. I've yet to need more than one to start a fire. They're compact, effective and easy to use. They give me the peace of mind that if I'm in a jam in the wilderness and need to start a fire to stay warm I can do so very easily. Cannot recommend enough! Buy some, you will not regret it.

I just got my large portable grill/firepit and it is awesome. First night out made kielbasa pepper and onion skewers. They came out great. Super easy to setup, breakdown, carry, and clean. It is extremely practical for anyone that cooks outdoors regularly. The construction and materials are excellent. I’ve used fire pits that burn up quickly, but even after using it for 6 straight hours, it looks great, basically no fire scarring. I imagine this is going to last a very long time compare...

I just bought the solo burner and set it up inside just to see ease of setting it up. Can’t wait to use it! I had a cast iron grate that fits on it perfectly. I got the solo for the weight. I’m going to be kayak camping and motorcycle camping this year. Plenty big enough to cook 2 steaks on!

These things fire up first strike of the ferro rod! Took them out today after it has rained for two days and soaked one in the creek for almost a minute. It took a few strikes but it still burned long enough to start a good fire even with damp tinder. Definitely a good buy so if your sitting on the fence about these, they are worth trying!

Fast shipping. High quality ferorod with comfortable wooden grip and came with two different lanyards with strikers attached. One is dark and the other lanyard is bright orange which prevents leaving behind. I demoed for a camping friend who had never seen a ferorod and was amazed with the long burn time and the quick, first try ignition! Great products. Highly recommend!
