My wife bought this for me for Christmas. Tried in the garage and lit after the 2nd or 3rd strike. I can see where this is going to be great camping/hiking. The one con is the with the starter pack, the rod is a little short ( for me anyway ). So guess I'll order the rod with handle next. Other than that minut issue, it 5 stars.

Picture is from it's test run in the backyard. Grill is very well built and sturdy. Size XL has room to grill this ~3 lbs picanha, which is split in like 6 large steaks. It has more than enough space above the basket to run a 2 zone set up, like a very hot straight over coals and a slower cooking/warming part. If guests are nibbling rather than served massive steaks it will feed lots more than the 5 to 6 advertised, easily 10. Quite sure it will work very well for the mission I bought it for: ca...

Finally got to use for the first time. What a great device! Packs small and takes up very little space. Very easy to assembly and had fuel burning within seconds. My first impression was that I should have ordered the larger size. That, however became apparently clear that for myself or one other person it's a perfect cook surface. Not sure how much of a warming fire it'll make on those cold mornings. But I'm excited to find out.

My wife took have of them and the tin for her bag! I also gave some to my bushcrafting partner to try out! Thank you for a great product!

Purchased these to start fires in our woodstove. We no longer have to use old newspapers. We just use one starter and presto, fire started. Purchased additional starters as gifts.

So there was a confusion in my order for these ferro rods so they're still in Colorado but..... the issue was resolved real fast and in a hurry. So as for customer service, I give y'all a 5 star review on that. Ok so as for the ferro rod, I already has one and fire plugs, and I'd give you 5 stars on both. 5 for the fire plugs because they are easy to use and smell good lol. The ferro rod get 5 stars because it is super easy to use and will last long. Made with pride and made with the real life u...

This is typical of a backyard fire. I do not use a lighter at all. The plug was intentionally wet and it always worked for me. The bigger rod fits better in my hand compared to the smaller and thinner rods.

Wow! First time I ever used a striker. After removing the black paint it lit on the first strike! I used only a half of one to try. It burned for a full 5 min and there was a breeze. I love this!

Tried my Bigfoot Bushcraft fire starters for the first time. After bending in half and getting the inside opened I placed it under some wood. One strike on the Ferro Rod lit the fire plugs and had a roaring fire in no time. Great product and worth paying a little more knowing that you'll have a great fire.

This is by FAR * the most Outstanding emergency fire kit I have ever seen OR * purchased. You can fit 8 * of these Awesome Jetfuel fire starters perfectly in this nice sliding tin. Comes with a nice soft drawstring pouch so everything fits together as a unit to conserve space for other live saving gear in your pack. Safe and ready for adventure. I keep it in my bugout bag everywhere I go. I cannot WAIT to go camping with it, and show my girl how a REAL badass starts a fire without * a lighter. ...

As I'm sure happened to most of you reading this, Bigfoot Bushcraft's fire starters caught my eye straight off the bat from an Instagram ad. I am always skeptical of products I see ads for on Instagram, which is why I read product reviews myself before buying the fire starters. Almost all of the reviews I read were positive, and as an active camper and overall outdoor enthusiast, I knew I would get great use out of these. The fire starters, and Ferro Rod, came in high quality packaging which I...

I love practicing my bushcraft skills, but sometimes you just want a fire and you want it now. The Bigfoot fire plugs are so easy to use. I have them spread all through my gear now. I will probably buy more to give as gifts to my camping family and friends.

Just ordered the fire plug 80 pack. My order was fulfilled and delivered very fast. I had my first fire last weekend and used two plugs to start my solo stove. The plugs lit immediately and burned long enough to ignite my kindling. I'm very satisfied. I'll definitely buy again and probably get the ferro rod.

Bought these firestarters to use in my titanium hot tent wood stove. It can be difficult at times to get the fire going in it, but these firestarters make it a breeze. I light them whole with a lighter in hopes that they burn a little longer. Conversely, I recently purchased my first ferro rod. I have never used one in the past, but figured I'd give one a shot with these firestarters. I tore the plug in half, as directed and was able to ignite it with the ferro rod literally the first time ...

These things work as great as they advertise. Super easy to use and light with a ferro rod or lighter. The few I’ve timed have lasted ATLEAST 5 min. Most went went over, closer to 6 min. They have a strong sweet tropical smell. Not really something I enjoy, but doesn’t really matter. Overall, they are well worth it, and I plan on buying more.

Well these little things are amazing. I did the dunk test with two of them, one torn and the other whole. Both were easy to light. I will be buying more soon, and I'll be giving my friends the advice to pick these up for their kits.

First time using the Solo burner, thought we would try it out before taking it into the bush. What a lovely, capable and portable kitchen tool. Managing heat output is a quick study, stability and ease of setup is unmatched. The build looks very long lasting. Definitely goto kitchen gear for out back country canoe trips.

I'm in no way a camper. But with the scarey things happening in the world I decided its time to learn total basics. I need to know I'm prepared for anything. The threat of grid down is real. So at 60 yrs old... I'm getting even more wiser. Started my first fire the other day while we were shoveling snow. Ok it was my backyard. But I still did it! I'm really proud of it too!!!

I received this kit to d a video review on, and I find it to be a good package: the ferro rod is a great size and gives good sparks, and the fire plugs catch easily and burn for more than enough time to get a nice fire going.

Never used such an efficient and effective Firestarter before. I've tried out other competitors products to find that Bigfoot Bushcraft produces the largest flame, for longest period of time. Leave your pocket lint and petroleum jelly at home and pick up a pack of these peach smelling, no mess firestarters. I'm not kidding when I say they're the best in the business.

I hike and backpack in the wet side of Washington which means if it doesn't work when wet, you don't bring it. I soaked one of these plugs, smeared it in dirt too, then tried to start a fire with it using some damp twigs, (it had rained the last two days). Normally this would be a real challenge, but the fire plugs worked!! They burned hot enough and long enough to get the twigs going and made me a fire! Now part of my Ten Essentials.

Got these to have as a fire starter in my hunting pack. I live in Montana and normally after a morning hunt you are cold and wet and needing to warm up. This video was taken after a hunt and it had rained most of the night then snowed. The snow melted off by mid morning. Needless to say a fire was nice to dry out my feet and hard. In the video I didn’t prep the fire starter like I should have. I was in a hurry and cold.
