To me there are only two companies to go to for your fire starter plugs. Bigfoot bushcraft and Blackbeard. I love to support small businesses, especially American businesses. The fire plugs made by Bigfoot are amazing. They start with one scratch of my flint rod, and they burn for 4.5-5 min...Ive timed that several times to get an average. I bought the fire starters for my wood stove! We just moved out to the country and our wood is seasoned but a bit damp! We’re city slickers so we don’t have good dry kindling or the tools yet to make our own! These little fire starters are easy and efficient! The striker works like a charm! So glad I discovered this product! I’ll be ordering more for me and for family! Makes for great stocking stuffers! 😉

after they arrived, I immediately took one out and fluffed it up. Using a flint and steel, it lit off on my first try and it burned for a full 10 minutes before it went out. Love the tin too. Gotta love em -- will fill a spot in my pack from now on!

Sorry no photo yet. These things are the best. I lit a couple and threw them into a wood pile. It was burning in no time. It started faster then when I used a lighter fluid. And a whole lot safer. I bought the big bag and the tin to put some in and the tin will be in the RV trailer from now on. Thank you for s great product.

These are awesome little fire starters. Used 3 times on a recent camping trip. First strike on the fire striker and instant ignition every time. Kinda have to bend them up a little and expose the inside fibers and they work like a charm! I actually prefer this method over my lighter! Excellent burn time as well.

I have used other products for fire starting. I have to say, I'm absolutely impressed at how easy these products make it to start a fire. Within a couple of strikes, the fire started catch the spark and you're good to go. The process is not that easy with other products. I found that what best works for me with these fires starters is to twist them back and forth and pull them apart, strike a ferro rod and you have fire. Great products. The fire starters work great and the ferro rod and striker throw off a huge amount of sparks. Usually two times with the ferro rod and the fire is going. I have a coupe of smaller ferro rods that don't work anywhere near as well to start a fire.

They work great fist strike,and for the wind resistant,that guy that did a review on your product says who's going to use it in high winds? Like he said you shouldn't be making fires in high winds anyway they can get out of control but your product is awesome, just like you described great stuff,going to be giving some out for gifts.

Received in the mail rather quickly. These things are great! All I did was fluff up the end of the plug, three strikes - bam. It was lit. I had to scrape off the coating on the rod. I wire brushed the scraper sides of the striker. Placed the plugs in my new tin. I'm making up designs to make a leather pouch. Watch out summer, hear I come. Thanks for a wonderful and easy to use product.

I take them camping. But most of all I use them to stay a fire in my woodstove. I use two plugs three pieces of kindling than three medium pieces of wood and one regular. And it starts everytime. I absolutely look your product!!!!

They are so cool!!! Well, probably not a good adjective for a fire starter. They are so hot!!! It’s actually fun to use them. I now look forward to going out and starting a fire in the backyard fire pit. No newspaper, cardboard, or lighter fluid. Just those little pink cylinders that even have a pleasant smell. I’m sold!!!
