This is my first paddle purchase after trying out a bunch of my friend's paddles from different brands. I tried control-focused and power-focused paddles. And I felt that I wanted something in the middle. A paddle that gives me a good feel and control around the kitchen, but something that had decent pop off the baseline. Although there are several paddles represented in the picture, there was one that was dominant. That one was the Bread & Butter Filth. This thing has power, spin and control. I am fairly new to pickleball, but The Filth has elevated my game. The Filth is also an awesome looking paddle that gets plenty of attention at the courts. Truly incredible.

After reading articles comparing this paddle with my CRBN X1, I purchased it to be a second paddle since it is 16mm and my X1 is 14mm. I've had the Fatboy since the initial release. It quickly replaced the Filth due to the hand speed and extra spin. I did have to weight the end to get a little more pop on serves. I got my Shogun today and played with it and the Fatboy. I can see using both depending on the style of game.

Plays very similar to my Filth. Which is to say it’s consistent and reliable with a large sweet-spot. It feels heavier and has slightly more pop and spin. The face appears to be more durable than the Filth so I’m optimistic it will last longer before losing spin. Both are excellent paddles at decent prices for what you get.
