I started off with the Filth and then added the Shogun. The Shogun offers a little more control for precise shots and the Filth is a straight up power paddle. Bread and Butter is my favorite pickleball paddle maker and I love the Invader. Perfect amount of pop and power, with great control at the net too because of the softer face. I got the shogun on the first pre-order and received my paddle on May 8th. After playing with it for a month I can give an honest review. For starters, this paddle has a lot of POWER! It took a while for me to find my grip strength when playing with the shogun. Even holding it very lightly, it still has so much power and pop. Easy removal of the stock cap with a small flat blade screw driver. Wrapped the butt of the handle in a layer of electrical tape, slid the cap on, then wrapped it one more time with electrical tape to the handle. After that, I rewrapped the handle with grip. Has been amazing ever since. Makes the paddle feel lighter while adding weight.

I’m really liking The Shogun paddle and the gold colorway is awesome! I’ve gotten compliments on it at the court. I can get some power for volleys effortlessly but it also offers great feel and control for drop shots and dinks. First tournament with my new Shogun. My partner and I took Gold in a very competitive 4.0+ bracket. It was especially satisfying considering this was my first time back to this facility in 18 months after having lost part of my vision. Resetting and control with the Shogun is like no other paddle I've used. Played another tournament after this and won 5 of the 6 games and pushed my DUPR rating over 4.5. Very happy with the Shogun.

I still use my very first paddle from Bread&Butter that I purchasrd 2 yrars ago. I have 3 of them now, just recently purchased the same one as my first. Still plays as if brand new and I probably won't ever change. Played in 5 tournaments with it. Have won first place in 3 of them with it and one second and one 4th.
