Got my Loco about a week before the tournament. Great feel on the touch shots and awesome power and control. I also play with the Filth paddle before getting the Loco and I love both. Glad y'all got the wider body paddle. Next, I'd love to see an elongated wide body wit about a 4 1/4" handle that would accommodate us table tennis players a little better. Coming from the joola Hyperion 16mm, this paddle has better spin, obviously increased power from the thermoforming, and decreased swing weight (I feel a lot more mobile at the net). Those are some of the pros. The cons I’d say is since it is lighter I did feel I had to add some lead tape to the neck for better control with drives at the net and better sweet spot overall with controlling power from drives. The paddle is phenomenal, It has such great feel from all areas of the court. The softness in the paddle face really helps my game become multidimensional. I am able to get a lot of 3rd shot drops and dinks to fall perfectly where I place them in the kitchen. Love my new paddle! My first paddle was the Selkirk power air epic and I liked it but felt it didn’t have enough touch. I tried out the Selkirk control Luxx next and loved the touch and feel but I had to swing hard to generate the same power I was use to - it helped with drops and dinks and I liked the elongated shape coming from a tennis background but it wasn’t the paddle for me.
