This paddle has a great feel and coming in at 7.75oz left me with options on how to weight it to get the hand speed and swing weight dialed in to my liking. Without question, my new go-to paddle. I've been fluctuating between my Fat Boy and Shogun, both of which I love, but the Hybrid Filth is the best of both worlds for me. It's not a power paddle like the Shogun, but is capable of ripping the ball mine the less, it's got a beautiful sweet spot that feels so good at the net for precise dinks but also a great defensive tool when blocking speed ups and redirecting drives. Very fun all court paddle! Kind of amazing how it blends control, spin, pop, and power and has all on tap! This paddle allows me to shape the ball with spin, power, and control. I get a good feel and feedback but the paddle remains plush. Some paddles have too much power and causes me to spray balls out. Finally got on the court to use my new Wild Thing. Power gets an A+. Drives definitely had more pop. Also, felt the ball staying on the paddle more, increasing the spin. Resets took a bit to get the feel for but once I did it allowed me to hone in. When at the net I felt I had control and was able to place my dinks where I wanted them to go. I absolutely love this paddle. My swings feel quicker than usual and I still generate power. It looks great too. When I’ve been complemented on the paddle, I show them the bottom of my handle. When they see the butt cap say “Mess with the bull” people get more excited. I can’t blame them, it’s pretty freaking sweet!
