Coming from the Filth I LOVE this paddle... same feeling with maybe a tad more pop but the carbon/titanium face just grabs the ball adding control and a feeling of higher spin rates than usual.

I have been a fan of Bread & Butter paddles for a while....Yeah I have a few (Drip, Filth, Loco).... But the advertising and the potential for a softer feeling Filth really intrigued me... Well what do you know, Bread & Butter delivered with the Shogun. More than enough power and more than enough feel so that drops and dinks are consistent. Now the only problem I have is which paddle do I play with.....Right now its the Shogun!!!

I love my new Bread and Butter Filth paddle! The colors are even prettier when outside! I've only been playing Pickleball for a few months, been using a friend's spare paddle. I decided to finally get my own paddle, I did some research and the Filth seemed to be a good all around best court option. Since using it, my game has gotten so much better! The paddle has got some POP! but also has a ton of grip to give players with a tennis background a whole lot of touch shots such as big slicing backhands or high-top spin shots that dip HARD after the net. Plays very similar to my Filth. Which is to say it’s consistent and reliable with a large sweet-spot. It feels heavier and has slightly more pop and spin. The face appears to be more durable than the Filth so I’m optimistic it will last longer before losing spin. Both are excellent paddles at decent prices for what you get.

Received my FatBoy paddle on Saturday and played in a tournament on Sunday! It was a seamless transition and I had zero issues getting used to the feel and swing! I’ll be changing the grip to something a bit more “grippy” but the length is perfect. Haven’t played around with it enough to make any comment on spin, but I’m guessing it’s going to be just fine 😉! Before the paddle arrived my thoughts would have been that its in between the Volair Mach 2 Forza and the Apollo. That is pretty much what I found to be the case for me.
