The new "Loco" Control paddle is exactly as described by B&B. It has a rough surface to add spin, a great solid feel when striking the ball. The quality is very good and I like their customer service. I have been using a classic shaped control paddle for three years and easily transitioned to the new "Hybrid" shape. I have only been playing with it for a couple weeks and am still learning what improvements it is making to my game.

Got it Feb 5th, that same night I used it for the first time in a pickleball league. My partner I went undefeated! Do I attribute that to this paddle? Of course not but coming from a Gearbox Pro Power Elongated, while the pop/power wasn't matched, it still provided a great pop and felt a bit more balanced. I play close to 10 hours per week so I've had ample time to adjust to the paddle and I'm impressed.

Love the feel. Provides great control, spin, and not overly poppy. Best looking paddle I’ve seen out there. Only issue is a very quiet rattle sound from inside the racket - I returned one via warranty for this reason, and my replacement has the same issue. Rating: 9/10

My favorite style of paddles of all time! Falls a little in the heavier side for better control and has a great recoil when returning the 3 3rd drop shot. My only thing that held me back from 5 stars is that the grip can get slippery from sweat, but can be fixed with a sleeve. Planning on purchasing a few more!!
