It's easy to use and scorches easily. However you need to shake it very well and sometimes the flow of the liquid isn't consistent. It actually dripped on my piece and I tried to sand it out, but it didn't work. So my piece has a drip that looks like it's part of the wood. The marker also runs with the grain of the wood. But overall It did a nice job and I like using it.

The scorch markers help create this one of a kind sign for a family member. Once I laid the design down with a stencil, we used the scorch markers to mark where we wanted to burn the wood. It is as simple as that! Wish the marking liquid came in larger quantities.

Great product,it leaves a very high quality finish on decoupaged products. There was no need to go over it with polyacrylic or wax. It is however, quite expensive, so I'm not using it and just any piece. I loved that it goes on clear as opposed to Mod-Podge that goen on white. It is much easier than the typical white because you can see any wrinkles or bubbles through it. First time using Scorch a few years back during the pandemic, it was a faulty marker that kind of caused me to not put much thought into it. Thanks to the Scorch family, I got a second chance to play around with it and I was really pleased with how much easier it was than using traditional wood burning tools. Also the time it took me to create this vs. what it would have if I had have done it the old fashioned way was crazy. This project only took me about 30 to 45 minutes give or take.

This is a Xmas ornament. It looks like a carved pumpkin. LOL! I didn't take the small pieces of the stencil off. Really easy to do. Heat gun worked great. A little scorch paint goes a long way. Love this!!!

It’s taken some practice to adjust to the consistency of this product, but I like how easy it is to brush on or even dip when needed!!
