I've had the Burson about a week now and can't stop listening to it! Really sounds amazing. I've paired it with a Danafrips Ares II and together they sound wonderful, very real sound if that makes sense. My other setup is A Topping A90 with an RME adi2 dac fs which also sounds good but more of a digital sound. My only nit pic would be that the Burson does get hot, I will probably build a little shelf to separate the danafrips from the heat output. P.S. Came quick and hassle free.

Extremely comfortable and resolving headphone. Great extension and vocal clarity. What sets these apart for me is the layering and perception of depth to the sound. The soundstage isn't vast but it has dimension. The air is also fantastic on the Noires. Adapts well to filters or EQ, I prefer to run them with a bass filter but treble-lovers will also be in for a good time. The comfort is sublime.

I had the iFi Zen Dac/Amp and enjoyed it but wanted to see how adding the iFi Zen CAN would push my entry-level headphones. I also run the single-ended output from my Schiit Fula 3 into the iFi Zen CAN which gives it a big boost. As a bonus, I can leave a different pair of headphones plugged into each device and be able to quickly switch when a certain song matches better with a different headphone.
