Completely satisfied with the end product. It sounds terrific, regardless of the source, whether it be via an audio interface such as the Evo 4, or an amp+dac setup like the TA-26 (tube) and a Gustard A26, or Schitt Jotenheim and Schitt Bifrost. I listen to mostly R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Classical and some synth - it sounds wonderful across the board, while providing a substantial (but never muddy or bloated) amount of slam (bass) and rumble (sub-bass) without being overpowering. Been using it as my...

After the initial break-in period still do not care for the cable so swapped it out for what came with Zeos’ Eris. As they both came in not long after the other, directly comparing the two DMS’ Omega stands above. Then again it should (better) = ) Still waiting on my Mimic Audio Modhouse Tungstens. Until then, the Omega has replaced my old pair of Hifiman HE-500 on the Abyss headphone stand. Time will tell if it remains there but I certainly love the new addition.

These are my very first wired IEMs ever. Before I was introduced to these I had experience with Audeze LCD-X and LCD-4z reference over ear headphones that are openbacked. Now that I have thoroughly listened to my Symphonium Audio Crimson IEMs I can tell from a perspective of the music enjoyment (musicality) part of a sound signature that these IEMs make me enjoy listening to music so much more than I did before with my neutral sounding signature, super analytical reference LCD-4z headphones. I receive the Organic, the box look seal & the headphone look new! I used it with my Schiit Jotunheim & bifrost, the sound is amazing, great detail, good soundstage, good bass The confort & the build is great, very light. For some people the high can be a little to much, but you can do EQ easely with it if you want more bass or drop the high a little. Like most the time, the cable is absolute garbage... I'm pretty happy, it complete my planar trio with different sound signature & strength: the...

In short: The Ferrum WANDLA GoldenSound Edition is a versatile beast of a DAC that combines technicalities with fun new features! It is the best DAC that I have had the pleasure of listening to, and if you would like to read more about my experience, my thoughts are found below :) --------------------------------------------------------------- After more than a month of use, these are my genuine and honest subjective impressions: - It is very resolving without sounding digital or fatiguing. Received the Hifiman Sundara headphones on Friday March 22, 2024. The order and delivery process went smoothly without any issues. This is my 2nd pair of Hifiman magneplanar headphones, the 1st one being the 400se. I like the brushed aluminum casing around the drivers on the 400se better than the black plastic casing on the Sundara. Also the 400se feels a tad more comfortable to wear, but that may be due to the relative newness of the Sundara. Both come with a sturdy connecting cable and th...

Great sounding headphones. Got these with the ADI-2 DAC FS and they are a perfect pair. The main reason for getting this is wanting more bass since my other headphones have a more open soundstage but very little bass. I listened to the focals and I was really surprised on how great they sound and ended up listening to my favorite song for quite some time. Definitely worth it

This is my first set of high end IEMS. It was a blind buy. I run these through my IFI Gryphon or Cayin RU7 from my phone or tablet. At first i was very impressed with everything minus the bass, but after some burn in time these things just kill it. Truly amazing and detailed sounds, they make all genres sound great, i mostly listen to EDM, Hip Hop, and Rock, with occasional jazz/ blues. I couldn't recommend these higher. If you're thinking about them, get them.

Love the sound and feel of these MKiii's. My 1st Kilo IEMs. And I think they're definitely worth it. I had to change my settings for when playing ABBA, female voices are kind of high. REM sounds heavenly! Ordered them thru Headphones.com and came very quickly. Easy peesy! Will use them again!

Heddphone 2 GT are a very fast, resolving and punchy headphone. I find the sound balanced with really nice imaging. The tuning is quite different than the 2, and both serve the purpose HEDD audio is targeting them for. Although it's a fairly low ohm (41), the sensitivity is also low, so these do need some juice flowing through them to really get the most of of them. But when you do, it's a truly impressive experience. I'm using a violectric right now +12db and I listen at about 1 o'clock. Comfo...

I upgraded from my Bose qc45 to the Bathys for the ability to have a wired connection to my pixel 7. Downloaded the USB audio app to my android phone in order to get the full bitrate without the android limitations. Connected to the Bathys with the type c connector and WOW. The sound quality is wonderful. Sure, the noise isolation is better with the Bose but the audio quality is not in the same league.

undefined review of Hifiman Sundara Headphones | 2020 Edition image 1 out of 1

It's taken me a bit to feel like I could come close to properly reviewing the Sundara's. They're my first pair of planar headphones, and the difference between those and "normal" dynamic headphones is small but profound. Powering them with an Atom 2 stack, for reference. Best I can describe it: dynamic headphones feel like you're listening to a canvas, and each sound is a dab of paint emerging from the canvas. A smaller part of a larger whole, and the pursuit is to find music recorded and m...

Great headphones. Disclaimer: I am a hi-fi beginner, so take this with a grain of salt. I'm driving them from a JDS Labs Atom 2 & Atom DAC 2, both from my desktop and record player. Basically all I've learned about these checked out. Clear, neutral sound. They are quite comfortable. The built quality looks really good, the thin metal parts feel very sturdy. I'm really happy with the purchse.

I'm a basshead because I love live music, where kick drums and bass are palpable and drive you to dance. I need deep sub-bass extension and plenty of slam and bounce on a hit. I've never loved an earphone that didn't have at least one dynamic driver. The Volare is easily the most technically capable earphone I've ever owned. It's also the most expensive, so I can't compare to the higher end of the market. The closest competitors I've owned are the Penon/ISN Audio EST50, then the Ultimate Melody...

It is really hard to describe the Hardenys, but turns out it was exactly what I needed. I have what I believe is a unique use case. Fantastic wireless headphones w/ a great wired (DAC) option. There's probably a hundred other reviewers that can tell you how great these sound, but the highlight to me was the open box experience from Headphones.com - came in excellend condition and all the original (or what appears to be) accessories. At least that was my experience. Good to know that it comes with the full 3-yr warranty as well.

The Omegas are like the Ferrari F40 of headphones—all performance. They have a raw modern design that will appeal to those who appreciate maximizing performance and function. Like the aforementioned car, the build quality is top-notch, with high-quality materials used throughout and yet they are super light. While the finish will be divisive, everything here is built to deliver an excellent sound signature in a super comfy set of cans. Top-notch work here. Glad to have picked them up

The Thieaudio Oracle Mk III order was the end light of a long series of researching that turned out to be an excellent choice. I’m someone who enjoys good solid bass, but not overbearing or bleeding too much into the mid bass. I am not a bass head. I enjoy clean clear midrange, with a bit of spaciousness to the mid floor, and upper mids and treble that have good extension, clarity, crispness but control with as little stridency as possible. The EST drivers in the Oracle deliver just that. Beauti...

These are the most comfortable headphones i have worn. Whether it is 5 min or 5 hours, these are super lightweight and the shape fits naturally over the ear. Folding design is elegant and the portability is what really sold me over other closed backs. Sound quality is great with a slightly warmer tone. Plays nicely with phones, but proper amplification brings out the best. The cable is well constructed and i like the connector choice. Wish there was an option for a short and slimmer cable gea...

Amazing. Exceeds my expectations. Has raised my sensibility for high quality audio reproduction. All of a sudden everything else I listen is "just not as interesting" . Especially in frequency range , clarity , nuance and the detail of every sound. Especially things like the flute, the human voice and subtly rich sounds . I will never listen to Pabl Casals and his cello again without my Headphones.

Man… these things are smoooth in a very pleasant way. These are the new silent rev 2, however I never had a pair of the first rev to compare them to. Comparing these to the LCD-1 that I own, I think I prefer these over them. That might be because the increased soundstage and better imaging imo. This DAP is outstanding... The directions supplied were a little sparse but nothing that you can't figure out if you are already familiar with Android devices. The sound is outstanding using Amazon HD Music and my own recordings from CDs. Other streaming music works very well, too, but I tend to gravitate to Amazon HD for whatever reason. These are marketed as an upgrade to HD600s, I would say closer to HD660s. Excellent mids, love listening to the new school country on these because those vocals and guitar strings sound clean. The highs are detailed without being sibilant. I always like to test one of my top 5 Megadeth songs, Tornado of Souls, if Nick Menza is hurting me with symbols on that track its usually a no go for me.
