Customer photo review of HEDDphone

The Heddphones are listed at 718 g. I actually dismissed it initially because I thought they were too heavy. But the weight distribution across the head combined with a moderate clamping force makes them tolerable. They kind of feel like Audeze LCD 2’s on my head. The pads are very deep and soft yet don’t make my skin sweat as much as other leather pads; perhaps because they’re quite open. I use thin framed glasses and there’s no problem with getting a seal. In fact, the seal is so good, t...

I had these headphones a couple of years ago and sold them off because I wasn't too thrilled with the sound. I was just starting my audio journey, and didn't have a good amp. I saw them again on headphones.com, and they were $790 and had to get them again since I now have two good amps. These cans sound amazing on a good amp. What a difference, especially on a tube amp. I have a Burson Conductor 3xGT and a Cayin HA-3A tube amp. They sound great on the Burson, but they really open up on the...

I've had these for a month now. I've been in love with them from the moment I pressed play on my Walkman. I'll give a slight edge to the overall fit to the Mega 5EST's. I loved the Megas, but these Meteors solved every complaint I had with them. Such a massive sound compared to those. The sub bass is incredible. Drums are impactful without needing EQ. Extremely detailed, without being harsh. I listen to these for hours without any fatigue. Mids aren't as forward as the Megas, but are in no way m...

Worried about the hype, but can say Im not worried anymore. I love the clean, neutral sound. They play well with any song and will be the perfect middle ground with my colored sounding headphones. Also enjoy the 350g weight and good construction. Only complaint is the long wait time.

Great experience. Website was great. Order was received fast. The in ears are really cool. Came in apple-like packaging. I’ve used them on stage once and for a few hours of practice and I really like them.

If I had to get rid of all my headphones and keep only one thing it would be the Oracle Mkiii. I bought it for the technicalities and was not disappointed—really impressive staging and imaging that can handle anything I throw at it and stay coherent. It’s on par with all my big cans. I never feel like I’m trading what over ear open back headphones could give me in exchange for portability. It handles even the most congested, complicated arrangements with such class, and it’s fun too. Stock tun...

** summary / tl;dr ** This is very good value for the money – sound aside which I think it excels at, its material physical construction and build is impeccable. It’s high quality, luxurious, and feels very durable. The app is ok (there is actually a very simple EQ – a simple +/- dB in Treble axis and Bass axis). I recall battery firmware was a bit weird prior to doing an update some time ago. Did I say it sounds great? And it does this while being wireless. In my evaluation, headphone comfort i...

Please read all🙂🙂🙂 The best closed back headphones I ever owned I've owned the focal bathys, Sennheiser momentum 4. Instrument separation is great. When you're on amp/ dac. As for Bluetooth, some songs may sound different but have them wired. They sound right and they sound better. They are loud punchy and have so much detail. I did not think the 14.5 mm planar driver was going to do anything significant and it's partially true. It's integrated with the music so well but you could hear that inst...

Alan, the sales specialist who helped me with the Burson Soloist 3X Performance open Box also recommend the Topping DAC to pair with the Burson Soloist. I received the Topping D70 Pro Sabre open box and immediately started testing it out. The D70 arrived when promised, was well packaged, had no discernible blemishes or apparent defects. I connected the D70 via XLR to the Soloist, and iPhone via Bluetooth. I tested the Soloist and D70 with my HifiMan Arya Stealth Magnet, my Audeze LCD-2 close...

Couldn't be happier with the KEF LSX II LT speakers! The setup was quick, easy, and painless connecting them to my PC or using the app to play music from my phone via bluetooth. Limited cables round out their clean looks, and they have been amazing for music and gaming.

Customer photo review of Thieaudio Hype 4 In-Ear Headphones

I’ve listened to and enjoyed several significantly more expensive bass oriented IEMs in the past few years. 64 Audio Nio and Tia Trio, Campfire Audio Solaris, Empire Ears Legend X and Legend EVO, Meze Rai Penta, THIEAUDIO Clairvoyance, Excalibur, Oracle, Monarch Mk1 and Mk3. I would take the Hype 4 over *all* of them. The Hype 4 and Monarch Mk3 have pretty much identical tuning to my ears. However I don’t think the Hype 4 is a mini Monarch Mk3. I think the Hype 4 is a *fun* Monarch Mk3 at an i...

I have 4 of these in a near field desktop setup for gaming/movies/atmos music and they perform excellently, but that is not a common use case(my plan is to move to a new house and set them up in a larger office). I also have 2 of these setup next to a TV since my soundbar setup is not ideal for listening to music. There it's paired with a Wiim amp pro for about 120W of power and in that medium sized room I rarely have to go beyond 50% volume. They have more bass extension than your average boo...
