After first 6 hr session and getting physically ill I found different numbing creams. Asked my artist and said he'd only ever use/recommend yours. Second session was 6.5 hrs and incorporated a cover up as well; was far more tolerable and allowed my artist to really lay in the color needed. No issues however will cause a darker appearance to new ink at first.

Second time I’ve used this product and I almost fell asleep during the first 3 hours. It started to wear off and get a little spicy during the shading and then the color… oof… that was rough. Now I have a gauge of how long I can go before it wears off. I love this stuff though. I’ll never get tattooed again without it!

I had the deer done, I had a used tube from a couple months prior to getting it. The tube was half full and had a little puncture in the tube, the cream lasted about 1.5 hours. I had another unopen tube that I put on mid session, that lasted about 5 hours. The product worked great.

This cream was FANTASTIC!! My artist was a tiny bit concerned about how it would affect the tattoo because of the effect it has on the skin itself, but we had no issues with it at all. I love working with this anaesthetic cream. I’ve used it quite a lot by now. Sometimes I apply it 60-90 mins before the tattoo if it’s been outlined already or after I sketch on the skin and then apply the cream for 20mins and works just as well. The only downside is the redness at the end of the tattoo which makes it difficult to photograph. In that case I ask my customers to come back once healed just to take better pictures. Got my latest grandson added to the rest of the grandkids pride that was done a couple of years ago..didn't feel a thing. Also got a tattoo done on my ribs which was weird because I was always told it will hurt like he'll, but I didn't feel any pain and the cream lasted about 6 hours. This cream is amazing, this piece is on my stomach and I didn’t feel any of the line work and most of the shading. This was a 4 hour tattoo so by the end it wore off a bit , but we decided not to go back and add more as the instructions say to do. I have since used this cream on 5 tattoos after this. 10/10 recommend. It’s amazing. Painful tattoos are a thing of the past for me. I will use this cream forever!!!!

This one was more line work then shading but I did not feel any of it! My upper arm was more detailed and I had to reapply in the middle once he was ready to do the shading but the majority of it was painless! Definitely have to wrap where it is applied or it does not work as well and do it for at least 2 hours. I had better results the longer it stayed wrapped! A little goes a long way and I now have a stockpile of this to continue my tattoo obsession!

This stuff is the real deal. Like others have said, it does wear off after a few hours so beware for larger pieces. I just had the start of a new piece and until the very end, I felt absolutely nothing. Tattoo came out beautifully. Will definitely continue to use the product, 10/10

Highly recommend for large areas or long sessions. After working on one area for a while, it starts to fade but is still worth it. It goes far - 1.5 tubes covered my upper back. Definitely apply at least 90 minutes prior to the session and leave plastic wrap on the areas you’re not tattooing until your artist is ready to work on that area. It causes some redness in the area that you apply it.

I will always purchase/recommend this product, I never feel a thing unless I’ve forgotten a small section to numb but because you don’t feel the tattoo the little bits you do miss and they may go over is tolerable until they get back to the numbed area. I’m halfway through an arm sleeve that’ll be about 40 hours when complete. I used the cream on the last session to help around the elbow and It far exceeded my expectations. We applied the tattoo numbing cream as directions instructed and the tattoo artist removed the cream and started the tattoo. I did not fell anything until the end of the tattoo as we took a few 30 minute breaks total tattoo time actually under 4.5 hrs. This stuff actually works great I have no complaints. I ordered this for my wife after she used it then I used it. I have recommended this to the tattoo artist in the studio and the now use it too.
