I truly did not think anything work to numb when it came to tattooing. I mean, we all love them but they do not feel good. I have 2 tattoos prior to this one and was terrified to get anymore because of the pain. My artist told me about this cream so I decided to give it a try so I could get a tattoo for my son. I am so glad that I decided to use this cream. I literally could barely even feel the artist touching my leg my entire tattoo. This stuff is "Fire". Worked exactly as described. Lasted me a good six hours. Make sure you follow the instruction on how to apply and you will definitely not feel a thing. The key is to wrap it well, keep it warm and give it at least 1.5 hours. Very highly recommended.

So I originally purchased this for my son. So I tried it, and I was very surprised of how well it worked. I will say it works best on the line work, shading it will definitely wear off fast. I guess you could always stop and reapply. My 17 year old did use it on his ribs, and didn’t feel anything until the shading. I asked him a few times if he wanted to reapply, he didn’t want too. But yes it does work.

First time using a tattoo numbing cream. I used it for a flaming rose directly in the middle of my sternum (tough spot). Directions say put the cream on 90 minutes before the tattoo. I barely felt this peice and I had only put on enough of the cream for about 8" x 6" tattoo but we ended up going much larger so it was only the outside edges that I could feel anything. While I was having mine done there was another guy having his knee and shin done and I gave him a tube, said he felt nothing but directly on the knee bone, maybe because there isn't much meat to numb.
