I purchased this thru Home Depot less than a year ago. It sat in my barn until early this year when I decided to mount it the hardware that came with it pulled loose while pulling the cord out. I did add better attachments to secure it to the wall after washing my boat and truck a few times I noticed loss of pressure and water pouring out of the unit. It is a good product, easy to use, craftsmanship. However, the retractable mechanism quite often fail, requiring you to expand and try again a few times until complete retracted. A bit frustrating - but no big deal as you should use it a few times a year.

This is my second one, my first one lasted approximately 2years, when it quit working I took it apart to see the problem. It broke a plastic motor bracket that let the motor move and stripped the gears. After reading reviews I decided to just by another washer instead of trying to get parts. Everyone said it was impossible to get any parts or service.
