We love our hose reel so as a thank you to our neighbor, we purchased one for him. However it does not fit into his garage setup. I returned it yesterday. I hope my refund will be relatively soon. Thank you again. Mary Jane Temple

was disappointed the mounting bracket was plastic I was expecting a metal bracket. the nozzle sent with the reel seems Bargain-basement like but we will see. The hose retracts very well and holds the hose in place once set. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5

I purchased the 78' Garden Hose Reel, and I love it! It is fun to use!
I had used competitors auto hose reels over the years, and they worked okay for a few years, but eventually failed to recoil. My new 78' Garden Hose Reel recoil mechanism works really well, and I am sure it will outlast the competitor’s models.
I am considering purchasing another Garden Hose Reel.

I recently had an outstanding experience with the customer service team at Giraffe Tools. I encountered an issue with my vacuum, and the assistance I received went above and beyond my expectations.
From the very beginning, their representative was responsive and highly communicative. What truly impressed me was their proactive approach: when they didn't receive an immediate response from me regarding the follow-up steps, they continued to check in to ensure my issue was resolved. Which wasn’t an...

Everything came in a timely fashion and as ordered. There was no damage to anything, we opted to post mount the hose reel, no leaks and it looks and works beautifully.

Everything is top-notch except that it should come with a 10-foot leader hose or the option of choosing how long you want it.
That would be even better.

The retractable garden hose has been a awesome purchase. It is easy to take out the right amount of hose and the retraction is simple and works great. this has allowed me to keep the yard more organized while still having the needed functionality of a 90' hose.

I don't yet have a ton of experices with it yet, but it seems well made. I have one issue with the wal mounting bracket. The area surroung the nut head is too small to use a socket well as it gets jammed, so I had to use a box wrench. I installed it in a narrow space on the front of our house in Detroit, to somewhat hide it from theft, so using the box wrench was a bit difficult.

The only thing about the package is that the hose feels some kind of cheap, it's hard like stiff. Hopefully when the sun hits it it will softened a little bit. Otherwise it's good.

A friend purchased this unit and asked me to install it. It was cool. I purchased one and installed it in my garage. It was great. Two years and to months later the motor burned up while I was using it. Giraffe tools says there only two year warranty. Now I’m out of a pressure washer and the money. Thanks. BUYER BEWARE

Retractable Extension Cord Reel-12/14/16 AWG

Absolutely perfect! The only issue is that I needed a wider variety of cables and had to order a 5th separate charger to get all that I needed (USB-C, lightning, and micro-USB). Other than that it’s perfect….takes up very little space and keeps the cords out of sight. Wife approved too!

Haven't used it very much - just got it installed. FYI, the template measurements are off. Use a tape measure. We had to screw new holes as we used the template.

Really like the hose reel that I purchased from you, it works realty well.
When the hose is pulled out it locks in place as it should, then when retracting back it guides the hose back in without any bunching up of the hose.
Really Nice. Highly recommended.

Good job!
I was encouraged to buy this unit by Clifford at C & C. You did everything you said you would do and the machine did everything you said it would do. Can’t ask for more than that.

Have not used the hoses as of today. But I do like the hoses compared to my fathers Craftsman Rubber hoses which I needed to replace all cause , every time you handle them your hands turned black. If I like how they perform I will replace 2 more.

It’s solid but the instructions could be more descriptive on the initiation of the assembly..ie the screws on the axle.but once that figured out it came together…I’m pleased with the results

I installed this retractable hose reel in my backyard last year as a Father’s Day gift for my dad, and it has easily been one of the best gifts I’ve ever bought him!
Before this, he used to struggle lugging a heavy, tangled hose around the yard or constantly swapping the nozzle back and forth from one side to the other. Because this hose is so long and incredibly easy to pull and move around, it has completely taken the heavy lifting out of his routine. It’s allowed him to keep effortlessly ten...

I am really enjoying this pressure washer! It has very good pressure and makes it incredibly easy to quickly wash my cars and keep my driveway looking clean. The 65ft hose is a decent length and allows me to reach a good portion of the sides of my house without constantly having to move the unit around.
The retractable feature is also a massive game-changer for quick cleanups. If you are on the fence about getting a wall-mounted setup, just buy it—you won't regret it!

One of the best purchases we have made for our new home. Went through 3 supposed anti kink hoses that were either too bulky or mainly just a hassle to always wind up. I used to dread having to water the front lawn but now it’s done in a fraction of the time.

Thanks for standing behind your product! I've bought many Giraffe hose reels and never had a problem but when i did have an issue, Giraffe stood firmly behind their reel. They fixed my hose. I appreciate your help and will be buying a pressure washer soon. Thanks Jane (Lockport, Illinois).

I bought this hose reel last year and loved it so much that I bought another one this year for the rear of the house. Unfortunately, it started leaking a few months later. Giraffe's customer service was excellent to work with. I sent them the information they requested, and they sent me a new one free of charge.

Have not installed it yet but it was highly recommended by my cousin who has two of them. I would recommend mounting this on a 6” x 6” pressure treated post with a white vinyl sleeve with cap. Also cement the post in the ground.
