Exactly what we needed. Installation was easy. Swivel provides excellent versatility. And no more fighting with the old hose when try to wrap it up. Being retractable solves that. I have used the unit several times and it has functioned as advertised. Great pressure and hose length is great. Only problem encountered was there aren't any markings on the ON/OFF switch.

This is my second Giraffe hose reel. The first lasted 4 years, but did not have a cover and some fittings froze. So with this second purchase I also bought the cover. I expect it to last many more years than the first reel.

I am a believer in easier. And, this product makes reeling in, storage and usage of a hose, safe, easy and convenient. It is also esthetically pleasing to the outside of your home. No more messing with square boxes, half circles or hoses in a pile. Or those fake self-retracting hoses. It is relatively easy to mount to a stone house. It took me about 45 minutes a reel. I cannot vouch for longevity yet, because I've only owned it a few weeks. I can say it's worth the money and time to install.

Exactly what I needed. Trust me, spend the extra money to get this. You get what you pay for and this is everything. I have fake turf in my backyard. Plus I have dogs that pee in my backyard. That means my turf occasionally smells. So I installed this to make it easier to spray down their pee. This reel system simply makes my life easier and more convenient. 10 out of 5 stars. And don’t get me started on the pressure washer system. I could talk about that all day.

I enjoy the fact that they offer a cover for my hose reel. Although I enjoy the use of velcro for easy on and off, I genuinely feel the material could have been more durable or constructed like a dry bag would be for camping. The fact that they opted to use a fabric that seems to be about 1 mil thick, I'm unsure how long this will last.

I almost never write reviews, but after trying some other cheap hose reels, I have to say this one is fantastic. Heavy duty, I'm sure it will last for years. Very little assembly, which was a huge plus for an old lady. Excellent quality - something that's becoming rare these days.

I love the product but the customer service is non existent. I called 3 days in a row, left messages for someone to return my call. No one ever called. Then I left another message that I would appreciate the chance to speak to someone before I left a bad review, still no contact. I do like the product however.

Installed Washer and tested. Everything worked find. Only problem I encountered was with the wall anchors. The bolt went out the side instead of spreading. Instead of mounting the washer on sheetrock I mounted the bracket to a board and just put the bolts in the board. Only con is there is no ON/OFF symbols on the washer so I had to guess the position.

Very happy with ALL of my giraffe tool products! Both hoses very straight forward and easy to install. I would add the covers are a must if you live in places like Florida or Arizona where we get lots of sun.

Very solid, sturdy construction. Paint finish on box feels like it will last a long time. Love the side cutout handles for ease to move box around. I was expecting to have to assemble in upon arrival, but it came completely together except crank handle and short hose that goes to faucet. Easy peasy!

If it is possible to fall in love with a hose, Cupid has struck me with his arrow. It was easy to install my retractable Giraffe hose, and my annoying days of manually untangling and rewinding a 150-ft behemoth are behind me. The retractability is outstanding and even though it's only a 1/2 inch hose, the water pressure is excellent. I'm so happy. I wish I had bought this years ago.

I can't comment on the long term use of the Girrafe garden hose as I have recently received it and had by my handyman install it. He said it was easy to install and the hose mechanism is strong and sturdy and everything is high quality. I am thrilled with this hose. It is so comfortable and so much easier than carrying a standard hose around the garden and fixing a kink was frustrating. I have to give a 5 star to the customer service of Giraffe tools. I purchased a unit from amazon last year and over the winter one of the parts inside the unit failed. They stopped making the unit I had purchased but offered an upgraded unit to be sent out to me for only the difference in price which was $30.00. The new unit works awesome (just like the previous one) and I couldn't be more than satisfied with these folks.

I have so enjoyed having this pressure washer mounted close to my cars. It is so much more convenient than dragging my old pressure washer out of the barn, having to unwind to unhook my garden hose then hook it to the pressure washer, then unwind the wand hose. This hose reel was easy to install on an existing post. I would purchase a second if it was ground mountable for use in another location in my yard. It will be interesting to see how long this hose reel lasts. My old one, which operated solely by water pressure and not a spring, lasted about 18 years.

The products are excellent, but customer service is horrible. It took one month to get my product. Many left phone messages and emails. No one would ever return my calls, finally almost four weeks I received a email help and my product was mailed. Be prepared they never answer the phone or reply back. They really need to focus on customer service.

It's a great design and doesn't leak! I located mine in the horse barn and provides water for horses, washdown and general cleanup. The 5/8 hose diameter creates water volume and pressure. Very happy with the purchase.

Product cover seems fine, which I haven’t used yet because I have been waiting for 3 weeks for my order to be complete. You can never talk to anyone. You leave messages upon messages and emails to customer service with no reply back. Horrible service. I have never experienced such bad service from a business.
