Awesome mugs. The men in my family have huge hands and can never get their hands in your usual mug, but they can with these ones. My husband also loves boiling hot coffee and tea and this is the only mug that retains the heat.

This mug is very well built, beautiful, and does a wonderful job steeping tea since it has a lid. If it is not hand-made, it certainly has the feel of being hand-made. This is the second one I’ve bought; my first one got so many compliments until I dropped it outside on some rocks and it broke! I’m very happy to have it back!

It's a nice sturdy mug. I use it for coffee and tea daily. I like it because it's unique, heavy, and feels personal. My wife tells me the lid is important for steeping to keep all the goodness in. I will say the strainer in the bottom of the steeping cup is a little small for my style of looseleaf. It just takes a little patience is all. No regerts.

I treated myself. I really love this mug! It's beautiful, unique, ornate. The crane and golden clouds in contrast to the black matte glaze is stunning! I look forward to using it every day! I get compliments and intrigue on it all the time.
My constructive feedback:
- The ceramic steeper has too few and too large of holes for the highest quality steep.
- The lid sits loosely on the mug. It's not a quality, snug fit.
