I purchased a replacement for the original that was 15 years old and had worn out. It was straight forward to self install. Plenty of detailed info supplied and videos on YouTube to review before starting. I purchased a very large unit so you definitely need a 2nd person for the installation. Once installed, I painted the trim to match the adjacent window and they are almost identical. The new window has a slightly wider operating mechanism but is real smooth to operate.

We received our door insert with blinds in a timely manner. The package and contents were in good shape. All parts were provided and install was easy. My husband and I did it ourselves in less than a hour with just a screwdriver. Pease has instructions online if you’re not sure how to do it. Got my friend to come over and install the door this morning. Demolition, installation, hardware addition, and cleanup all took about four hours. These photos capture some of the process. A Tennant got a little close to the door with a bbq🤣. I tried finding the most economical way to fix the door . Full replacement was out of the budget. This was a perfect match and solution to fix the melted window frame. Even came with extra screws and caps .

I installed the half lite insert in about one hour. It was easy to cut the door to size with the measurements that were given, and the window slid in very easily. I’m delighted with the light that now enters what was a dark area of my house and the door is more attractive as well! I added an inexpensive film to the class to provide privacy and a little more interest. Overall, I was very happy with the service I received and the product.

This is the second one I’ve installed. Took about 45 minutes to remove the old insert, clean the opening, and install the new insert. My 14 year old grandson was my helper. The hardest part was putting the screw cover on. 😉😉

So just wanted to be clear doesn’t matter what design you have as long as the measurement is close enough it will fit because all the doors are a standard so if what you have is have a different design, the plastic molding or the glass of it doesn’t matter this one will fit long as the measurement of That plastic molding are same . It’s a great product and this is the best place to buy it from because the other areas they gonna order from here as well or somewhere similar and they gonna charge ...

Quality was much better than local box store products. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had to replace a rotted portion of the door frame along with the old rotted threshold. Shipping both times was very fast. Be sure to measure your old threshold carefully. I didn't and after the first threshold arrived I found this door had a 32" threshold where other doors in the house were 36." I now have a 36" threshold in stock for future use.

I hated the glass on our front doors, but replacing a double door and 2 sidelights is so expensive! I told my husband I found a company that just sells beautiful new glass inserts and he was super skeptical but after reading so many great reviews, I just ordered these and I am so glad I did! They are absolutely gorgeous and the quality is superb. My husband was very pleased that we could bring our 1990’s style doors into 2025 at a fraction of the cost to replace them!!

The project included cutting out the needed window opening in a fiberglass door. Although tracing the window on a piece of cardboard and then reducing it about a 1/2 inch all the way around was pretty straightforward, it would have been appreciated if Pease could supply a template for people doing a total install and not just replacing a window. Maybe the company supplying your boxes, could put the pattern on the inside surface of the shipping box or just add a loose paper copy inside the shipp...

I order the frame and glass kit. It didn't show up and was considered a lost package per UPS. I called Pease Doors and the got one coming that same day which was a Friday. Window came in that following Monday. It wasn't their fault package was lost, but they did resolve it immediately. I highly recommend Pease Doors and I will be using them for future projects. Sun and slamming had broken the plastic insert mullions on our good as new steel door. The glass inside was fine. I was thrilled to find Pease offered the plastic only, for 1/8 of the price of full glass plus mullions from a local lumber yard. They clearly explained how to get the right measurements, shipped quickly and it fit perfectly. I am happy and sure that this upgraded plastic will last longer. Thanks.

Exceeded my expectations. Should have taken a before photo. Had black weatherstripping that had been splattered with white paint over decades. Looked awful. It probably took an hour an hour and a half to take out the old window, remove the old silicone and put silicone on the new Pease window. The vent window, once everything was prepped, took about 8-10 minutes to put in and screw together. Insert the window level it, screw it together, that easy. The quality is very good and everything installed and works as it should.

My door arrived promptly, securely packaged and strapped to a heavy duty pallet. I was very pleased to find it in perfect condition. Installation was easy and the door has an extremely solid and durable feel to it. I needed a slab and the cost from Pease was three to four hundred dollars less than the big box stores in my area.

Project was adding the window kit to a blank door. I made the cutout, one side a a time, used a mini-circular saw and a cutoff tool, which was a little cumbersome--suggest using a regular size circular saw, next time. Then smoothed the edges with a sander and a file. Painted the door and installed the window kit.
