This kit made adding glass to our door so easy! We originally hired a local company to do the glass for us. After 10 weeks they still didn’t have our glass in. The frame was of very nice quality, easy to finish and easy to install. The original frame was 17 years old and the outer frame was cracked and the glass began to shift within the frame. I began by looking at new doors, but after seeing the expense, I decided to replace just the lite frame. Now it looks like new again!

I replaced the 20yr old 6-panel Pease door (it warped) with a new half-lite Pease Replacement door then swapped out the clear glass with the Connecticut decorative glass...painted the door black (w/ SW EU Tricorn Black) and replaced the clear sidelights with new Connecticut glass too. It looks awesome and it saved me $,$$$ compared to a new Therma-Tru door. David and his team were extremely helpful and shipping was seamless. Now I'm set for another 20+ years.

The large oval door trim kit was for an old er door where the window was replaced with a stained glass that this fine lady’s deceased husband made before he died. The window installation went flawlessly. It opened-up our laundry room with light and the feeling of more roominess. The window arrived on-time and with no damage. By pre-cutting the opening according to the specs given in the product description, I was able to install the window within minutes of its delivery - with no adjustments to the cut! Entire installation was easy and took about 30 minutes. Saved between $400 - $600 by doing the job myself.

My old window frame was yellowed and cracked, and in a rain it leaked. I considered just replacing the frame, but new glass too didn't add a whole lot to the cost. Newer glass is probably more energy efficient than something at least 30 years old. Decided to do it right, so scrubbed off the old chalking paint (the only laborious task) and repainted. Installing was a no brainer. Very straight forward, especially since it was pre-caulked.

It was great to not have to get a new door. The hardest part was measuring the glass before I ordered and cleaning up the outside of the door where the framing had melted. Too bad I didn’t have a picture of the old melted distorted frame. The door needs a fresh coat of paint as soon as it gets warm enough in Michigan.

I installed the inserts with the help of my son in law. They are heavy. I took the old inserts out. Left the doors in place and installed the new inserts. If you do not want to take the door down then you need 2 people. 1 person to hold the insert while the other screws the frame. They are absolutely beautiful. I have wanted these for years and I am so happy I finally got them.

These really worked out by getting rid of the outdated grid pattern in our door and sidelites. Kind of pricey but cheaper and easier than replacing the whole door. The install isn't bad at all the worst part is removing the old glazing from the glass but just use denatured alcohol and a flat razor and it comes off fairly easy. If your a DIYer with some projects under your belt this is pretty easy.

Glass suction cups make it a breeze. Reused old frame so I didn’t have to paint the new frame. Took my wife and I about 30 min to complete. Tip: make sure to fully tape the old glass (if possible) as it makes the removal process simple.

I purchased a house about a year ago that had a ventilation return duct for the air conditioning system in the bedroom. UnFortunately, I had a solid wood door that when closed would cut off half of the air circulation back to the air conditioning unit. The instructions on-line, as well as the written instructions included with the frame, made this an easy project to complete. Perfect replacement part. The hardest task was cleaning off the old caulk, but a bit of paint thinner helps a lot. I have three more frames to replace and I will be ordering those soon.

The new frames arrived amazingly fast, even amidst the pandemic, and fit perfectly!! NO MODIFICATION REQUIRED! They even had a sealant/adhesive beading pre-installed around the perimeter of the exterior frame that eliminated having to deal with messy caulk!!! The only thing I would recommend is having some mineral spirits on hand (test to make sure it's safe to use on your door finish) to remove any excess sealant that squishes out when you tighten the screws on the inside frame. This was a great project that most people could do. Measure twice cut once! That’s 80% of the job! It took only an hour because I measured three times!! The new door/window has let so much light in a very dark corner. David was great in answering my questions, a true customer service representatives. Could not be any happier with this project.

I ordered online and received my order 2 days later. After spending less than 3 hours you can see results. This more than met my expectations and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The parts fit perfectly and I have 20 additional doors to do. My only suggestion would to have a cheaper shipping option. 30 percent of the parts cost for shipping is very costly.
