Beautiful, easy to install. Started with a solid door, cut out the opening and installed the glass insert. Whole project took about an hour. Makes a huge impact and looks amazing, highly recommend if shopping for a new door.

This was a great purchase. They were exactly what I was hoping for and look great installed. The install took about an hour with the removal of the old ones included. I had clear ones before and kept having to replacing the rain window clings. Now I have it built in and it is perfect.

The box was wrapped to ensure no breakage. Some minor tools on an intermediate level, drill and jigsaw, plus one screw driver. In total from start to finish I was done in less than three hours with paint. I did this by myself but I am also a seasoned handyman. I would totally purchase again.

Needed to replace the frame around the door window as it was cracked. Found this manufacturer and was very pleased a replacement frame was available and in stock. Following the instructions, easily removed the old/broken frame and installed the new one. It did take two of us as we left the door on the hinges. Next day primed and painted. It looks great!

The key is to make your measurements carefully. I started by marking the horizontal and vertical centers of the door. Also, it will probably take a jigsaw cut from both sides of the door to cut through. Most jigsaw blades are just too short. After cutting one side, I used a small drill bit to make "dots" through the other side from along the cutout edge. I then flipped the table, connected the drill holes, and cut again. Easy.

The original arched door opens onto a stone back stone step under a brick archway. Only the very inner edge of the threshold rests on the subfloor--the rest is mounted on stone. Very prompt shipping with incredible packaging. After measuring and measuring again, the opening was cut out. I shortened a jigsaw blade and cut through one side at a time as recommended in videos I watched on YouTube. Perfect fit and better than expected results.

This is our second time using a Pease Doors glass kit and we love the quality of them. Having them arrive pre-caulked is really nice. They are well protected during shipment and are a great upgrade to a dated door. Our project still needs to be painted but it's looking much better with the new glass kit!

My dog destroyed the old cracked molding and I attempted to piece it together but when the glass wasn’t secure I knew The door needed to be replaced or fixed. I Measured based on the easy instructions provided on the website, ordered it, and received it within three days. Between me and my teenager I had this installed within 15 minutes. One of the easiest projects I’ve ever done.

The new Fanlight window and frames fit like it was factory fresh. The sun had destroyed the outside frame and the door needed fresh paint so it was a perfect time to do a complete job. Price was very reasonable and delivery time was speedy. So easy a caveman could do it.

This Pease Doors insert is a real work of art! It really brightens up our entry and hallway. Installation was super-easy, my wife and I had it out of the box and installed within one hour. This pease door installed in 1993. Originally factory white. I transformed the door to look like wood on the inside living quarters. Needed a new sweep and also changed the hinges to polished brass to complement the door nob and strike plate. The door was painted several times throughout the years and now that I’ve got experience with the technique, I would do a few things different on the prep but a completely satisfied results and easy work with the factory replacement parts.

Installed two frames. The frames installed easily. The second one, I attempted to prime for painting before installation. I was unable to find the recommended adhesion promoters, so I used a spray primer for plastic (gray colored frame in photo). If you look close you can see a lot of scratches and chips from installation handling. I am going to attempt to strip the spray primer off and continue to look for the recommended products before painting.

Our original lite had a wood frame that rotted after 25 years the door is metal and the frame was aluminum clad so those parts were still in good shape. We ordered the framed lite kit. We watched the video and it was great. It was an easy project and cost a lot less than replacing the whole door. The delivery was quick and perfectly packaged.

Most DIYers will have to cut their metal doors from each side because their hand-held jig saw blades will be too short. I used my drill to make holes along the edge to line-up my two cuts. Overall, a very affordable way to make a drastic change to your house.

I’ve installed over 25 of these in my community, although only the last six or so have been purchased through Pease. The difference in packaging, hardware and quality is leaps and bounds above Home Depot’s supplier. I wish I had known about Pease sooner. I won’t go anywhere else for these moving forward.
