Installed two frames. The frames installed easily. The second one, I attempted to prime for painting before installation. I was unable to find the recommended adhesion promoters, so I used a spray primer for plastic (gray colored frame in photo). If you look close you can see a lot of scratches and chips from installation handling. I am going to attempt to strip the spray primer off and continue to look for the recommended products before painting.

Had to replace a sidelight with a cracked wooden frame. The other sidelight had a smaller crack too. Ordered two replacements and installed it with my wife’s help. It took just over an hour to replace both. I spent more time cleaning up the dirt and grime accumulated over the years. Installation was very easy.

I ordered a frosted Sidelite from a competitor. It took 8 weeks AND didn’t fit correctly/shattered during installation. I ordered this glass at a cheaper price and would have had it within 3 days but Pease had an issue with shipping boxes. I let them know that I was having a surgery within the next week which was why I was in such a hurry to get a new glass in. They came through to get it to me quickly. Worked out great!! It would be even better if Pease Doors included a “cut template” to mark out the perfect cut for the glass insert. You do have a very little bit of wiggle room , but not much. Overall, this was a fantastic upgrade to a beat up door and saved $Thousands vs a new door. Highly recommend. Pretty easy project once you get past the thought of cutting a hole of your door.

I was hesitant to install the window myself but I planned it out and I was amazed at how quickly I got it done. I can’t believe how much more light I have in my entryway. Took about an hour to remove and install new sidelite. About 10 minutes to remove screw plugs and screws in old window. About 30 minutes to get outside frame of old window loose (strongly adhered to panel) About 10 minutes to install new sidelite and 10 minutes to install screw plugs. Perfect fit and extremely easy installation once old window is out.

A contractor who stood to earn about $800 labor for this 20 minute task was kind enough to refer me to Pease Doors. The quality of these window kits is remarkable and Pease follows the order every step of the way and even offers assistance with install should you have questions. The order was received very quickly and the low-e glass makes a huge difference as I can now easily compare with the old windows. I saved $800 and will use Pease every time I need a window kit or doors.

Turned out really good . Was difficult to install the kit with 2 people . We had to take the door completely off its hinges and lay it down to install the kit . And the little white plugs are really hard to put over the screws . Have to hammer them in . That being said the kit did fix the door . So much less expensive that buying a new French door

Changed out five full lite windows/doors leading to our back porch. The glass had "leaked" its seal over the years. Not a hard job at all. I did order a pair of glass suction cups off of amazon for about $20 that made the job easier. Take out the screws, cut around the painted seal of the plastic grid, remove the old glass. Removing the existing frames took a bit more time that I had expected then cleaning up the exterior door surfaces to repaint was needed
Installing the new frames was a challenge
The frames were a perfect replacement however the weight of the glass required both of us a lot of effort and time to centre it in place

Before and after pics. The threshold arrived in a timely manner and was easy to cut and install. We did have to remove parts of the side jamb due to the existing floor but there was a lot of dry rot there anyway. Height adjustment of the threshold was easy and I now have no worries about moisture intrusion anymore.

Glass kit came undamaged in 2 days! After watching install video it took me about an hour and a half from start to finish to take the door off, remove handle and lock, cut the opening, install glass, re-hang the door and reinstall the handle and lock.

Easy install... I'm a carpenter so I didn't need instructions, however.... it would be best for customers to simply supply general instructions for installation without requiring them to go elsewhere for them, really it's not hard to do.

Extremely easy install. Glass and trim came ready and equipped with its own sealant already on the trim for the outside of the door, screws, and caps to hide the screws. Also made it to easy for me to tint the inner glass to prevent heat and so much sunlight coming in. Highly recommend to everyone.

I’ve done my fair share of DIY- but this one scared me a little bit. Easing up my front door would be an expensive fix…. However the kit and a few online videos had me feeling pretty good. Install from taking door down to replacing it completed was about 2 hours. Not difficult and even though I had some user error, it’s not noticeable to anyone but me. Very happy with this insert and it looks absolutely amazing on my house!
