The door looks beautiful with the new Portland glass insert kit. Items shipped were packaged well. Installation was fairly easy for a DIY homeowner. Total transformation from an old etched glass to a modern look. Very Happy with the outcome!!!

Item arrived in excellent condition. Installation was not difficult but it does take two people. The glass and frame were true to size and allowed for adjustment in the door opening. The most difficult part was the glass pane continued to slip in the frame. Once put in the door opening the glass would slide down. Ultimately I had to used a heavy adhesive tape to hold the glass in place in the frame until I got screws into the frame. My wife was my assistant and we are in our seventies so maybe a...

It would be helpful if installation instructions were included. There is a video but we weren't getting good internet connection. The window adds a lot of light. Haven't used the screen except to test that it slides okay. I'm sure that will be nice on the hot days though.

The black rubber seal between the glass was all warped and showing through the glass. I measured and then ordered a new window and then just followed the instructions for replacing. It was really easy and looks amazing.

After receiving a replacement from my initial purchase that came in with a broken frame, I am extremely pleased with the results. I was unable to install a storm door due to shutter placement, but this venting glass insert was the best alternative. Customer service was exceptional and responded promptly to my issue.

The window arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I put it in a thick heavy solid door so the cutout process was less than perfect (my fault). But the window fit well the trim is wide enough to cover mistakes so all in all a 2 hr fairly easy job!

Installation was so easy - it took my husband and I about 5 minutes to install and it looks amazing. It fits perfectly and we love the venting window. I painted the trim to match the door and it looks great - no issues there! I also liked how quick we got the window and it was packaged super well - no issues when we opened it! We definitely recommend!

They, weren't bad to replace ,hardest part was making sure glass didn't slide down over screw holes. They are beautiful ,fit perfect and the right size . Now the winterize trim haven't put in it. But seems simple to do. I was glad I got them because they need replacing. Thank you ,I would order them again if need to. Price was average for doors.

This was a terrific project for us. We ordered the window kit only to find out that the windows were backordered but they came in in a few days. They shipped quickly and arrived in great shape. The project only took about an hour to complete. The hardest part was the cleaning of the window inserts. The actual installation was easy to complete. Loved it!!!!

Great product. Only thing is the sealant on the outside trim was hard to get to seat flat between where there were no screws. Maybe some hot weather will get it to relax a little. Maybe some compressible weather stripping would be better?

Im so glad I found Pease Doors! They had exactly what I needed! Shipping took a week longer than expected but that was FedEx fault. Window came undamaged and ready to go with instructions. Our previous window is 30 yrs old and the plastic started to pull away on the outside. The door was in perfect shape, just needed to replace the window and we wanted one with a blind. Measuring to insure I got the right size was easy.

Simple to navigate the website to locate the glass and frame kit I needed. Easy to measure old window and apply to the new window kit i needed to order. It took 2 days to receive the order. Installation of the new glass and frame kits went very smooth, and problem free. Took a total time to install of 1.5 hrs start to finish. After getting quotes from $3k to $5k for a replacement door with windows for my new home I was looking for alternatives and found your website. Under $500. seemed like a bargain if it was a legitimate option . I read reviews and went for it. Cutting the door was the most stressful part. Once done the insert just about fell into place. Ordering was super easy and they gave lots of tips to ensure we were ordering the correct size for our project. The window piece arrived quickly and was exactly as pictured. The install process only took about 30 minutes to an hour from start to finish and we absolutely love the finished look! Love ordering from Pease! Prompt shipping and great service. The add-on blinds kit is a great product and easy for DYI installation. Just loosen a screws, add the mounting clips, and retighten the screws. No drilling and no fuss. We spent more time cleaning our existing window glass than actually installing this product. Highly recommend!

So much better than “big retailer” version, and not a big price difference! This was the first seal I ever replaced (the former owner of the house had no idea what they were doing, had several pieces of foam weatherstripping on top of each other). My first attempt allowed wind to whistle through the seal; then I discovered Pease Doors and ultimately the solution.

A stray cat showed up at our house and we tried to find his owners for about a month to no avail. In the mean time the cat destroyed the weather stripping on our garage to house entrance door. Lowe’s nor any local hardware stores had the correct weather stripping. When I searched on line your website came up with all the information I needed. My son, who had recommended the Pease inserts, came and installed the three panels. It took him about 1 hour to do all three. My husband and I really like the difference they have made: ability now to shut out morning sunlight and glare, visibility when shades are up, and the fact that the shades are in between the glass panels. A real bonus for me will be ease in cleaning the windows without having to navigate fake pane dividers. Very pleased!

I've kept the door and wood jamb painted over the years and now with the new weatherstrip, the door is good for another 37 years. I dark door exposed to the sun for years resulted in trim cracking and the seal being ruined. I looked into replacing the door with a new one with a window that opened and costs started at $1300 with me doing the install! A little tricky to get fully into grooves in door bottom, but when I figured out where to tap the wooden block I was using to seat the barbs in the groove it was a “piece of cake”.
