I never realized how awful our builder grade weatherstripping was until I replaced it with Pease Doors weatherstripping! Over the years, it had gotten to the point that we could see gaps of sunlight when the door was closed. This stuff is thick and dense! I can absolutely see it lasting for years!!! And it literally took 10 minutes to remove the old and install the new, by myself, with 2 kids running amuck, and a wild frenchie raising hell!

It was a great install but directions need to be made more clear and closer picture of the steps. If someone was to do this as a diy project I wouldn't recommend it. Leave it to someone who knows what they are doing. Also it didn't come with a screen which is weird. Most sliding doors come with a screen especially the more expensive ones.

the hardest part of the project was removing the frame screws from the new glass. you guys had them in too tight.It was all downhill from there The new glass and frame fit perfectly . I am very happy with the finished project and will be ordering 2 more to complete the doors

Very easy to install - did it myself with minimal fuss and just a screwdriver (though would probably be easier with a helper to hold in the frame and glass panel). Got it to give my garage gym some much needed ventilation and it works great. Fast shipping, did run into a bit of a snag once it was in Fedex's hands, but Pease was helpful in following up with Fedex to get the package to me.

I show pictures of the old frame already out and a close up of how it was cracked (it was over 20 years old). I was going to replace the whole metal door but the price quote I received was around $1000. I found this insert replacement on Pease Doors and was able to get a friend to help me swap it out in less than an hour. It still needs some paint touch up but it went in easily and saved me quite a bit of money.

The window is exactly what we wanted in our front door and once I got the courage to make the cuts, the installation went smoothly. I liked that the frame is pre-caulked. Our only issue was with transport -the box arrived unstapled and it appeared the window had slid around on a dirty surface (truck bed?). I can't say enough about Pease Doors! I took the measurements, sent it all in and they provided me with an insert that had the blinds in between the glass panes pretty quick. Installation was a breeze and it fit perfectly. We still have some painting to do when it warms up but the door is done. Next will he the front door and we will get that from Pease as well. I used a pair of the 32" wide 15 lite slab doors to serve as interior French doors in what was previously an 8'x8' bare opening. They arrived quickly, were packaged well, and the customer support was quick and helpful at answering my questions before I made my purchase. I could find doors for 2-4 times the cost which were out of budget, or doors that cost less but were poor quality and construction. These were a perfect fit in the middle and I was happy with the purchase.

I ordered one of these to make sure it wasn’t too hard to install and that it fit well. The windows we had were faded and pitted a bit after 26 years of use. It took me about 20 minutes to remove the old window, prep the door and install the new glass. I still need to do some final painting of the doors. This door bottom was a perfect fit for my Pella fiberglass entry door, despite the description! The length was exactly correct for my 36" door and required no cutting. The "kerf" of the door bottom is 5/8 inches which is narrower than door bottoms that you can purchase in hardware stores and home goods stores. So, it was GREAT to find this item and Pease should make it better known that it's not just for steel doors!

I ordered a window for my door. It came with the glass cracked. I spoke to customer service. They had one out the next day. I received it two days later they wrapped it extra. I put it into my door and it looks beautiful. Customer service was great no troubles getting the glass replaced. I would recommend to anyone who is doing an upgrade on the front door.

It may cost slightly more but a factory part may be the way to go in certain applications. This factory part for my Pease steel door fit perfectly and absolutely no hassle of removing the door. As per the instruction sheet the old seal slid out and the new seal went right in!

My door is nearly 50 years old, out of the weather and leads to my balcony of my 3rd floor condo. I modified the stationary side To also open which had a wood sill and upgraded both sides with new weatherstripping , sills and door sweeps. Frame is great. Very unhappy with the little scam you run though suggesting that I need to buy high end silicon for the job. YOUR FRAMES COME WITH SEALANT ALREADY ON THEM.
