Was my trial run. Had to do additional cutting but that’s on my and my equipment. Plan to do another door and will be better prepared. Amazing the amount of light it lets in. Overall quite a straightforward installation but a second person would help tremendously.

I’ve never had to replace a door seal before and was having difficulty finding the right type of seal for one of my doors. I didn’t realize how many different kinds there are! After many purchases & returns, I found the exact one I needed very quickly thanks to the very detailed diagram of the door seal with measurements & where it would slide onto the metal strips on the bottom of the door ! Pease Door glass installation was straight forward and simple. We opted to upgrade the glass to the Low-E version for superior insulation in the Summer and Winter months. Pictured here, the integrated door frame fit firmly and securely in place, held in place by 24 screws installed on the inside frame. Pease door came with an ample number of plastic caps to cover each of the 24 screws holes in the pre-drilled door frame.

Overall great product with a very simple install. I definitely recommend planning to paint it; the finish quality was just okay. But once painted and installed, looked much better. This was a great option for providing more light in our dark house without opening our front door to the neighborhood view.

The first item came in where the box was damaged, thus damaging the threshold in side. It came on Monday, I reported the damage and they immediately sent out a new threshold. I started this journey just looking to replace the trim around the window in my mom’s door. Ended up purchasing a new window. I came across Pease through a Google search. The website was super easy to use. The instructions provided were on point. I ordered The door on Sunday, it was delivered on Thursday. Everything necessary for mounting the door was include. Nice threshold replacement for a door out onto my deck. The 8 inch by 32 inch unit worked great here. I only had to cut a little off of the door trim and the threshold slid right in, with the door removed. I had to repair some wood rot under this area and be sure to carefully seal the new threshold. Very pleased with this threshold, now I will continue with refinishing the deck as weather allows.

We purchased a door with white grids on the outside of the glass but we’re not happy with the look. I found Pease Doors on line and ordered this door insert with black grids in between the glass. We couldn’t be happier with it! Great price, great customer service and a great product!

Glass and frame are quality!!! I read in comments that some people had shipment issues, I did not. After summoning courage,I taped and cut the door. I found removing it and putting on saw horses seemed to be the best way to cut a full glass. I placed glass on back porch table and found setting the door on the glass was the easiest way to install! Absolutely looks great!!! Saved 2-3 thousand over estimates I was given! Very pleased!

The window kit arrived quicker than I had anticipated. It was quick and easy to install however it was slightly narrower than the original. I will need to do some additional sanding and painting where the door is now exposed but I don’t mind that. The window is secure and weather tight so that’s the outcome I was hoping.

i cut 2x4’s to lay under window frame, then laid door on top , screwed on inside frame and had helper reattach to hinges, total time was about an hour or so. Happy with results - Also painted doors so it looks like new!

Faster shipping than expected. Our 82” x 24” standard size glass with integrated blinds arrived just 3-4 days after our order was placed and confirmed. Pros: Easy to install kit. If you have some woodworking/carpentry skills, you should be able to install it. I had a solid 36 x 96" entry door at the end of a dark hallway. Cut out and installed this kit to bring light into our entryway. Cons: Instructions are for replacement of already installed door glass. Some length and width measurements and or instructions for solid door installations would be nice.

Sun and slamming had broken the plastic insert mullions on our good as new steel door. The glass inside was fine. I was thrilled to find Pease offered the plastic only, for 1/8 of the price of full glass plus mullions from a local lumber yard. They clearly explained how to get the right measurements, shipped quickly and it fit perfectly. I am happy and sure that this upgraded plastic will last longer. Thanks.

My door arrived promptly, securely packaged and strapped to a heavy duty pallet. I was very pleased to find it in perfect condition. Installation was easy and the door has an extremely solid and durable feel to it. I needed a slab and the cost from Pease was three to four hundred dollars less than the big box stores in my area.

Project was adding the window kit to a blank door. I made the cutout, one side a a time, used a mini-circular saw and a cutoff tool, which was a little cumbersome--suggest using a regular size circular saw, next time. Then smoothed the edges with a sander and a file. Painted the door and installed the window kit. After being quoted insane figures for an alternative door install and not being offered an insert solution…I took it upon myself to find a solution and came across Pease. Inserts with enclosed blinds are seemingly hard to come by at box stores, etc for a tall door. 5 Stars! I ordered this insert and it arrived quickly. The 1st one received had some damage to the frame and a panel of glass shattered. Emailed customer service and they sent a replacement the same day. It arrived quickly also. Easy install (if you don't have to square out the window as I did). This is exactly the look I wanted! After spending more than three hours at Lowe's and Home Depot and they still could not find right thing. Doing a web search and came across this site. A little hesitant about buying the glass replacement online. Went a head placed order and so happy I did. Came in mail very quickly. Packages very well, replaced in about 20 mins.
