Had trouble finding this hinge in my local hardware stores. Checked online with Pease and was able to order direct. I was slightly concerned that the hinge may not fit and I would have to return. The old hinges had been painted white and the knobs were brass. All the hardware throughout this remodel were changed to oil rubbed bronze. I wanted this door to match the rest of the house with the new hinges and door sweeps I bought through Pease. I love this finished look.

This was an upstairs door that I rarely used, and during the cold winter I tried to open it and the bottom was frozen and I pushed in the bottom of the door just rusted off. I didn't do the installation but a contractor I have been working with did. He had the old glass out and this new, beautiful window in in less than 1/2 hour. After watching him, I know I could have installed the glass myself! It is really beautiful and I am very pleased. Pease Doors let me know there was a problem with my order immediately and communicated with me during the two week delay. I appreciated their effort to keep me informed! I would certainly use them again if needed.

After the original magnetic controllers broke due to age, it was a challenge to find replacements. I didn't want to replace the entire door or window insert. Luckily, Pease Doors offered replacements, which were the only replacements I could find after an extensive internet search. The replacements work and look great and were easy to install. It only took a few minutes to figure out how to access the track and insert the replacements. Thank you Pease Doors!

Project turned out very good once I realized that you cannot follow the video on the website for a half glass. I was installing a full glass kit that involved cutting the center of the door out to fit the large glass. I reccomend measuring the new glass and mark the door. Just cutting as shown in the video will get you into trouble. We tried setting the glass in the opening with the door on the hinges. The trim came off and made is a real problem. Completely satisfied with the results of this project. Pease door stained and wood grain effects with polyurethane sealer matte finish. Confusing suggestions on preping the plastic grills for the side lights. One instruction suggested a primer and the other said it wasn’t necessary? Opted to go with out, but maybe it would have been better to prime. Had to double stain the pieces because it was slick surface and easy to wipe off the stain when dragging the wood grain tools. Perfect replacement parts for the door. It took forever to find this company because nobody else sells them. One of the easiest projects I have completed to remove the cracked, falling apart original parts and installed these new ones. I have a 3/4 lite front door and I wanted an option to shut the window at night and when we didn’t want to be bothered. We didn’t want to put curtains on the door, as it would look silly. This is the only company that makes this product in this size. Super easy installation. Highly recommended.
