They are relatively easy to put on (just gotta make sure all her toes are inside and then slide her feet all the way in!) and haven’t had any issues with them coming off. They get dirty pretty quick on asphalt but mostly just contained to the bottom of the shoes and I’ll rinse them off every now and then. We have tried 8 different styles of shoes for my 88lb Yellow Lab Service Dog. Most either slipped off or spun on his feet so he was walking on the tops. NOT THESE! They are easy for me to put on him with my nerve damaged hands, they stay where they are supposed to, the slits on the side perfectly frame him dew claws so there is zero irritation. Best of all, they are SO easy clean and disinfect. Just spray down, and dry with a paper towel- then good to go. No dry time! I'm going to order another...

Yosemite already has a pair of the WagWellies Mojave that he doesn’t mind, so I got a pair of the originals for the salt and rainy days. When I first received the shoes, they arrived in a squished state, so I thought they were defective and reached out for support. I was informed by customer rep that the material of the shoes is soft and would easily regain its shape. I have tried lots of dog shoes and boots for my dog to keep his feet dry in the rain or protected from the hot ground in the summer. Most of them are poorly made and fall apart after a few uses or don't stay on more than half of a block on our walk. Love Wagwear! Helps keep your pets paws protected and safe. Would like to see an improvement on the quality of the velcro as it becomes wasted after just a few weeks, especially if you use them daily like I do. In terms of the design it’s perfect and really stays on the paws. I would recommend that the design be updated to remove the two holes closest to the slits as they are easily prone to tearing. We love our new shoes! I purchased a size large for my 5 month old Lab. This was perfect for her first camping trip and she will be wearing them while we are at the beach for a week. They don’t bother her at all. I do recommend to tighten the Velcro around their feet pretty tight (not too tight) because I have noticed they seem to get pretty loose after a good run.
