Sadie is a 10 year old golden retriever. She had two TPLO surgeries (her back legs) and she has hip dysplasia. Easy to put on and comfotable enough that she doesn't even tried once to pull them off. It's sturdy, so, I don't fear that she'll step on a hard surface like sharp rocks or glass hidden in the grass that, sadly, sometimes I spot. I have a rear amputee tripaw who has monoparesis in his remaining back leg. Because of his gait now, his back paw would scrape on the sidewalk, and he tore the paw pad. I was having to wrap his paw with athletic/medical bandages to take him outside. These shoes are durable enough to really protect his paw without wearing down on the concrete, and they don't twist around on his paw or slip down. This is the THIRD time that I buy Wagwear shoes for my dog and I am incredibly happy with the original version and love the different colors available. Most importantly, what makes me me happy is that this was the only brand that as soon as I put them on my golden retriever he walked in them without wanting to shake them off. Saw a review for them on YouTube by Oatmeal and decided to give them a try! My service dog has booties to protect her feet, but she sweats in them too much in the summer. I've been looking for something like this for a couple of years but couldn't find any good ones. These work great!!
