I first recall hearing about Kava a few years ago at a Bula Kava Bar in Cocoa Beach, FL. I didn't try it that trip because I was there for my 50th and was enjoying sparkling wine & the Rum flight at the Pier. So I was a good girl and didn't also consume Kava.

If you looking for a good alternative to alcohol and want to try kava, then leilo is the kava to start with. Powdered kava is very bitter and difficult to balance. Leilo balances kava with great flavors. It’s a nice way to relax and have zero regrets.

I just didn’t like the lemon ginger flavor, it tasted like a vodka lemonade to me. However, if you’re looking for a drink with that flavor then it’s perfect. I loved the other three flavors, my favorite being the hibiscus one (the pink one I forgot the name)!

My husband and I were both really surprised at how good this version of Leilo is. I really liked the margarita one and he liked the piña colada. Definitely fun to sip on as a cocktail or alternative and it was nice to feel a sense of calm as well. I like the way they're taking this product.
