Had this windshield shade for a year and honestly not happy with the fit. I have a 23 revel on the 22 sprinter chassis. The rods sag in direct sunlight and as you can see from the picture it is not a perfect fit on the top, corner and edges. The side flaps do not reach both sides of the windshield - if one is snug, the other is bleeding light. We ordered the hatch cover to go with our front cab shades and rear vent cover. Like the vent cover, installation requires taking apart the molding around the hatch. Unlike the vent cover, there are more fasteners, including those that hold the ladder attachment hooks, and the magnets need to be taped down. After making a mistake (we followed the same directions as the vent cover and didn't use tape), we ultimately decided against removing all the screws again just to tape the magnets down, ...

The overall experience was great. Customer service, ease of ordering and communication was spot on. I really like the shades but I can't say I love them. The black out and insulation benefits are a major plus. Super easy to install. I think it would be better to have the screen zippers on the bottom so you don't have to open the screen all the way to get to the latches. Wish they folded smaller or rolled smaller with tighter cords. All small things. I will be ordering bedroom shades soon.

The CRL version fits great! Love that I can just pop open a little flap to allow airflow and still have full coverage at night.

Straight forward to install. Packs down small. I like the tab that slides on the inside of the window allowing for the screen to be in place with the window partially. I did find that the left and right sides fit the door windows differently. One side fit snugly the other side seemed to be just a bit oversized, but It works good enough to not bother with a return.

Just barely large enough for the magnets to attach to the window frame. Wish it was just a bit bigger as it does not quite reach both sides; attaches better at top and bottom. Regardless, it is a quality piece and should help keep out the both cold and hot air. May next order one for the booth window. Have to save up money first lol

The install was a little more difficult than the video showed. Inserting the clips behind plastic window rim molding was not easy. Also recommend that the magnets inside shades should be the same length as the clip. The magnets are shorter and not easy to move in the seam. Once all aligned, fits well.

I bought this to replace another very popular brand that blocked more light than this one, but was a wrestling match to get into place and would via the magnets move into the door seal area, which meant it could only be installed with the door closed- too much hassle. I like that the bottom of this one matches the contours of the door making placement intuitive and the door handle relief aids in placement too. Conclusion: much easier to install, but minimal light gaps. I’ll take that trade-off.
