I purchased this knife as soon as I saw it advertised because it is the kind my son had hoped for to go with the other two of your knives he has ans loves. It is for a gift for a furture occaision--birthday or christmas so he hasn't received it yet bit ai am so temptedto try it out myself!

My mystery knife is a cross between a Shark knife and something that resembles the nail of a hawks claw. A couple days after receiving it, I brought it to a community barbecue where of all the knives available, the head cook chose to use this one for its design is perfectly matched for cutting tricut ribs and other dibs. I knew it was going to be good. And yet it out performed all others there. Excellence in design and workmanship. Thank you.

The sheath is pretty well made. I'm not sure how well PU leather will hold up over time but it seems to be a quality built item. My only dislike of it is the stitching that runs horizontally across the inside of the sheath. Ever time you go to insert the knife back into the sheath the point of the blade gets caught on the stitching and slices it a little if you're not careful. Other than that it seems to be a tight fit to the blade and hold it in securely with it's button strap.

I got the butchers knife as my mystery knife. Of the 6 knives I purchased this one is the best in hand. In all knives I have ever owned it is the best in hand. Designed with controllability and balance I am confident with every slice. I used to work with a scalpel, and I think this blade might handle better (though not as sharp and small). It’s my favorite of the knives, but it sees some of the least use since I do little carving off the carcass and more cutting on a board.

This knife worked perfectly to tidy up the turkey carcass tonight. I got beautiful slices for sandwiches tomorrow and smaller pieces for soup. I was able to get all the meat off the bones very easily and quickly. What an excellent product!!

I can't give a review at the present time because I am in the middle of moving to a new house and don't want to take out and unwrap the knifes until I get all moved in. I did open the boxes and hold the knifes but never took off the plastic wrap and blade guard that are on the knifes so I don't have to worry about damaging them in the move. I will say that Wow, these are some heavy duty knifes and I love the sharpening stone and I can't wait to use them. That cleaver is enough to chop off just ...

This knife is awesome. Sharp, solid and gets the job done. I slice through anything with ease.. my favorite things to cut up now are pineapple, 5 lb block of cheese, pepperoni.. all these things before hurt too cut because of arthritis,,, makes it so much easier and less painful to do. LOVE this knife

I love them! I cut some turkey, asparagus, lettuce, and tomatoes and it was like cutting with a straight razor. I also bought two more for my son who loves to make brisket! He’s gonna be so excited when he opens the boxes!

I purchased 3 knives: Altomino butcher knife, Promaja, and the Altomino slicing knife. I haven’t used these knives yet however they all fit my hand good and they look good being displayed on a magnetic rail. I used Whetstone to sharpen an older butchers knife; this knife cuts as it did when it was new.

My first gator was not up to par. Coolina made it right and sent me another one in 1 week. That Saturday I cut my finger, it was so sharp. It's called the gator, but I call it daddy's bad little mother effer! Let's go!

These knives are superb!!! I felt like I was cutting through hot butter when I was cutting through and butchering a whole beef shoulder. I have been through multiple knives from Japanese steel to multiple different German and western steel knives. These have definitely upped my kitchen skill and they are a beautiful talking piece when guests are around.

Hello Coolina, The Tungsten Chef Knife has been a great knife that I added to my collection of everyday knife to use. I been using the Tungsten with all my meal prep, it handles great the weight feels good easy to maneuver. The tungsten five stars.

My wife is using The Gator as I am writing this. Cutting vegetables for her spaghetti sauce. She is LOVING it. We both reach for one of the six knives from the Beautiful magnetic Walnut display. Our son was visiting us from Germany. He used the knives several times during his visit. He said that they were more beautiful and cut better than any of the knives he uses in Germany!

This holder is awesome, but would be better if the magnetism ran throughout the board. The knives are only currently at the top to stick, but if the sides were also able to hold I'd pay up to 250.00 for this.
