I bought 4 Coolina knives with the 2 for 1 offer. This model of chef's knife has surprisingly seen little use so far HOWEVER I have only had the set for a few days and as I learn how well these knives perform individually, I am enjoying their individual broad scope of use. This design is perhaps the one most of us are familiar and it will become a familiar tool in my kitchen.' Very cool knife. Sharp as hell.

I have forever used good quality kitchen cutlery. Not THIS good I am finding. VERY sharp and easy to sharpen. Holds an edge well. Learning how to best use each of my new tools. Very art-like in design and build.

My wife was a bit confused when she got home got home and saw our new addition over the big gas stove. But she has gotten over it but everyone else thinks it is cool as hell and can't believe it when they hold one in their hands I love them and I didn't buy them with her in mind but if she ever changes her mind I would allow her to use them. In the mean time I absolutely love them

Few blades make for a better wedding gift to the Groom's Guys. A little diamond point stenciled engraving, a little sandblasting ("Isaiah 41" in Roman numerals and Hebrew), epoxy sealing the artwork and voila!

From the first time I used it I knew the knife was a solid tool to use in my restaurant. Sharp is an understatement! The edge holds up very nicely throughout a variety of produce being prepped. I have cut both onions and tomatoes so thin I could see light through the slice! And after 2 weekends of prep, the blade still has a great edge.

I got this set for my boyfriend for Father's day. To say that he absolutely LOVES them is a complete understatement. He uses them any chance he gets, and has stated on numerous occasions that its hands down the best gift he's ever received :)

How much more beautiful can a knife get? Just the looks and the workmanship sets this knife aside from all the other cookie cutter knives on the market. But forget the style for a minute. This is the most beautiful and useful knife i own! I have a tungsten chef's knife, but the promaja is so useful, sharp and powerful! The leather sheath is a must to keep it beautiful and looks amazing! I'll never need another cleaver again! (Maybe the Lixy, lolz!)

Being a journeyman meat cutter. In the past 20 years I have bought lots of knives. Some way over priced, and pieces of crap. Your knives are the most comfortable I have ever had. When I first got them, the edge was not what I expected. A few strokes on a barbers strop. WOW you now can shave with them. They do hold an edge very well. I definitely need more. I do have a question. In the future do you have plans for steak knives?

I used both of these bad boys today for the first time. I started out with Altomino and trimmed up a whole beef tenderloin, and it worked magic removing the silverskin, which is always the hardest part for me. Not today. Then I grabbed the Machado and cut out the most beautiful center cut filets with perfect ease. After sharing via email that the board I had received had some impurity looks on the top front edge of it, a quick response back suggested I rub some oil onto the wood. It worked beautifully, thank you very much for the quick and simple remedy to fix the issue !!

This knife or I should say cleaver has some nice weight behind it to cut some thick meat. I have used it on some vegetables because I'm anxious to use it as much as possible. I'm thinking I need to buy a roast so I can cut it up. LOL.

I purchased this Knife on my birthday after a few Beers. I actually purchased the wrong knife, I wanted the Daozi. Best mistake ever. The Altomino is Amazing It is Great for chopping and dicing vegetables. Also Great for carving meat. Thanks Scotty Cowan.

I like the size of the letters, but it was done just on 1 side. Also if someone is to do this to a knife(s) maybe a selection of a lighter colored wood handle would be best so it can been seen better. As you can see on my Suratu it is hard to see my initials.

I truly enjoy my knives. I don't see them as just a knife but also an investment. As you can see from my picture there are quite a few in my collection. Everyone of them are excellent and I enjoy using them

Performs better than expected! Real steel with a real blade that’s not stainless. Very smooth ergonomic cutting that’s hand and wrist friendly. Sheath is amazing with real leather, not faux.

So I am relatively new to the cooking game and this knife caught my eye. Here are the things I found about the knife: 1 - It just looks cool. Don't discount this factor. It's big. 2 - Unbelievably sharp. 3 - Well balanced. While on the larger size, it was surprisingly wieldable. 4 - Good construction. 5 - The large blade acts as a really useful "scoop" for chopped stuff. 6 - Leather sheath is nice, but not crucial as it comes with a cloth one. I would absolutely recommend. Don't think about it....

The knife feels great. It’s heavy and nicely contoured, but rugged and sturdy. It feels like something out of a medieval movie. Slicing vegetables is easy and enjoyable. Even over-ripe tomatoes are no match for this thing.

When I first got the gator day truth, that is a Cayman already cut me why just try and take out the package beautiful design on both of them got the gator and the eagle. The eagle is so beautiful. I’m going to use it on my steaks and the gator is gonna be used for pork chops for tonight. I love it. Have a handles feels good and comfortable.

I love love love this knife. It’s super sharp and has a great weight to it. The wide blade makes it easy to pick up chopped items for tossing into a waiting pan. I have a huge selection of knives. This is easily my favorite.

Sits right alongside all my favorite knives. Its in my daily use rotation. Great for quartering fowl. The point is precise but stout and works smoothly into joints to separate them efficiently and with authority. This morning I used it to clean a hambone of usable meat before I made stock for split pea soup. The next time I go to butcher primals I’ll use this knife. My daughter gave me an early Christmas present, the Promaja knife. This is the coolest and most bad ass knife I have ever owned. I really like the weight of it, not too heavy, but you know that you are holding a serious blade. Sharp isn't the word for this, it's like a huge razor, cuts through anything like it's butter. I highly recommend Coolina hand crafted knives.

The Kapeni is a well built knife/cleaver that is RAZOR SHARP the full length of the blade so be careful. It was the first one I used. The ONLY complaint I have it that it DOES NOT come with a sheath like the others.

This Butcher knife is by far the heaviest meat cleaver I have ever used! I trimmed down some chicken wings to smoke and used this cleaver, and it chopped through bone and cartilage like none other. I’m a bigger guy that has a history of working out as a firefighter and this cleaver is a beast! Daddy likie!
