This was a Christmas gift for my son who loves to cook. He really likes the knife. The only thing I can say is that the shipping was slow, but it did arrive just in time. Customer service was great and answered my emails promptly. Worth the wait.

I micro sliced a tomato with this knife. One feels the weight which assists in the cutting of anything its effortless. Besides it looks awesome. I will add that I texted a photo of the knife and told him all about this knife. He was like "wow" and after that sent me photo of his which he purchased a year ago. What????

I bought three Coolina knives and LOVE all three. The sheaths that come with the knives are not great and the pleather Onnes Collina offers are not great. I had custom ones made from OfMudandCoal on Etsy and they are works of art. Perfect pairing for the wonderful knives.

If this knife was scaled down in size it would have been awesome. It’s still awesome though! This knife is a cleaver. It is heavy and sharp and I’m sure would have quartered a chicken no problem. I’m sure you could take it from the kitchen to the garden and go chop down trees! I ended up trading this one out because I unfortunately don’t have a use for a cleaver.

I haven't gotten the feel of these knives entirely so they aren't yet everyday knives. But for what I have used them for they are sharp and tough as they come. I never expected to pay so much for a knife, but so far I don't have a doubt they will prove to be worth every penny.

This is my second Coolina knife and this one is great for chopping veggies and the like. Its shape gives it a nice rhythmic bounce which makes chopping a joy. Well, not a joy but it doesn't suck!

Had it about a week. Absolutely love it! Never had a respectable knife before but this thing is awesome. I’m able to dice things much finer and no risk of slipping on an onion. One thing I’ll say is remember to season knife with a lil oil. I forgot to and woke up to rust all over it. Got it off easy with a wire brush but I definitely won’t forget next time. I highly recommend! Such a nice handmade quality to it and such a lovely shape. Definitely getting a cleaver soon! ❤️

I was not as impressed with this knife as I thought I would be. I expected a bit more weight and size than what I got. The handle although well put together is a bit on the small size and your index finger sits very close to the blade edge. The blade is sharp and excellently made. I just expected more from it.

At first I thought it was too heavy!! But after using one fo your compares knives I see why it is so thick and heavy your compition their knife had chunks of the blade missing after trying to cut a steak bone!!!

i really enjoy a nice knife, i have a block full of wusthof, great knifes! but i also like specialty knifes, and do alot of bbq`ing, barrel, weber, all briquets, and wood, no gas! this knife is dangerously sharp, (in a good way) glides easlily thru ribs, tri-tip, etc, and looks good doing it, i bought 2, and gave one to a buddy of mine, as payback for a bottle of sinatra jack daniels, that he gave me for christmas, another great product! he liked it so much, he`s having another one of our buddys...

This is the first of the six knives that I've used and primarily for preparing and shopping vegetables and so forth and it is a wonderful tool I never knew I could slice an onion as thin as I could with a knife this size but it's wonderful can't wait to use the rest of them.

This is a beautiful knife. It’s balance and weight make it feel like an extension of your hand. My first experience with this knife was trimming the large pieces of fat off a Tri tip and it was was like cutting hot butter with a razor blade.

This knife looks great. It is very well balanced and cuts like a dream. I used it cutting smoked sausages. Something I typically use a thinner blade to do, like a boning or filet knife. It worked very well. It didn't tear the skin of the sausages once. I am looking forward to putting it to more challenging tasks.

I received the Promaja as a gift. Best knife ever! I use it for everything. Only thought it best to buy the Altomino Tungsten as a Thank You to someone else. I can't rate the Altomino because its not mine and haven't used it. I will say that I'm now jealous that I don't have one.

I own a $125 Wüsthof 7” craftsman knife. And it’s a nice knife don’t get me wrong. But it doesn’t compare at all to this one.

Love this knife! Comfortable, well balanced and so comfortable to use. Came very sharp and holds a sharp edge very well. Only downfall is the blade can rust but, with proper care zero issues. Also. Not sure what kind of oil or sealer on the wooden handle is, it its very nice. My only regret is not buying the set of 3!

I love to cook especially deep fried food like TEMPURA. This wok is perfect for that and I am so happy having now. Next time I like to try your knife but they look huge and living in United States, we do not have any good knife sharpener for real iron. I don’t know how to keep sharp all the time. Hiroko

This knife is amazing and is razor sharp!! I use this as a prep/serving knife. It cuts through meat evenly and smoothly... the presentation is always clean and the meat doesn’t look like a jagged edge chewed through it. I use this also for last minute cutting when I’m preparing a dish... it’s definitely an all purpose knife!! It’s balanced perfectly as well!!!
