This is the best Cleaver ever. Made short order of chopping/cutting apart a rack of lamb chops. I will use it for everything. Knife came in and had a cracked handle. I emailed Coolina and immediately got a reply from George who facilitated a quick turn around exchange. I am sure I will be looking at other knives from Coolina in the future. Rick

Great company and products! I utilized the “buy 2 get 1 free” promotion and when I opened the box there were only 2 knives. I haven't tried them as of yet, but I will after Christmas. I also bought a 8 Oz. Bottle of your Knife Oil. It is made well. It looks cool. I will use this one very rarely. Just too heavy...more of a cleaver than a knife. It worked great to cut a tough delicata squash in half. It is so heavy that even though I have strong magnets in my knife holder, it is barely able to adhere. I use the Promaja much more often. Or the chef knife. If you were only getting a couple of these knives, I would skip this one unless you butcher a lot.

haven't used them much, just one. Great quality and the blade is carbon steel which sharpens easier and holds it's edge. You just have to keep it oiled after washing. I bought several for Christmas presents and by the way, I love your advertising...that's what sold us on your knives.

The knives arrived quickly and well package. I used the Gator the first day I got it and it is razor sharp! No joke please be careful because I was cleaning it with a soft sponge and after a few passes I notice paper thin slices of sponge in the sink!!! I bought these knives for my boyfriends birthday. They turned out great and he loves them. The only thing I would say that needs to be improved is the packaging. The knives came in a box for each knife. They were just taped together and in a bag. I was very disappointed in the packaging because the knives are so expensive. Would have liked to have seen them all in a box with some kind of protection and not just shipping in a bag that I got.

I find this knife to be incredibly sharp. I used it to cut the bully sticks I get for my pups as a comparison to other knives that I have used for the same task. This chopped through the bully stick and fractured the plastic cutting board I was cutting them on. for $99 it certainly seems great. Lets see how the edge holds and how it performs over time. Only thing I was disappointed by was the lack of a sheath or case to store it in. Damn thing is so sharp I am afraid to put it in my knif...

I just got the knives the other day and already had one in use. I trimmed off the fat on some tri-tip steaks and it cut through like butter and have very little meat wasted attached to the fat very sharp and the feel in my hand while trimming the fat was nice. Great job guys
