I absolutely love this knife and has replaced my chef knife in my kitchen. It’s weight and balance are perfect and I use this for everything from chopping/dicing up veggies and herbs to cutting meat and slicing through and preparing chicken and fish with stuffing. Great addition to any Kitchen!!!

I had some high expectations for this knife....and I feel that they were met....Quite a hand full of metal...but you make the knife do the work with its weight...and it definitely feels good in the hand...I am very happy with it!

This Chef's knife is beautiful to look at, hold, and cut with. The 8' blade is perfect for cutting flank steaks (only meal I have prepared since receiving it) and has a balanced feel when holding it. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for an 8' Chef's knife.

Love the knives wished they came with a knife holder like a nice dark oak one would be a beautiful set, also 3 came to my door and 2 came to my mail box that was confusing. The customer service was great, but again a nice custom holder kit would be nice and if every knife came with a case it would have been nice 2 of three came with a case.

I was in need of a good chef's knife. This knife has done very well. Great for slicing, chopping, dicing, or whatever you ask of it. It has a good weight in the hand and is well balanced. I highly recommend this and any other knife Coolina makes.

Came pretty sharp i was happy with its factory edge its now sharper and seems to hold its edge very well it had some small burrs on the back edge of the blade which polished right off it also has a gap in the handle inside by the blade i bought this one and 2 other knives the handles are better fit in the other 2 all things considered they seem to be fine knives

I love this knife. I got one for each of my adult sons and one or me. It is very substantial, a tad intimidating, manly (sorry, ladies, it just is) and overall very cool. Although I'm sure the factory edge is ok, but I took them to a professional sharpener and now they are as sharp as a razor blade. This knife will long outlast me. I hope my boys remember me when they break out the beast.

I was surprised at how lightweight these suckers were, in a good way. When I shred beef or other meat I like my meat to have a bit more of a chew compared to what you see on some videos with the squeezing the meat to a paste. Until now I've used forks but sadly my hands tire quickly. Meat fork & knife is a solid move but nothing quite as fun and satisfying then these two metal bear claws. Fun for the whole family! Highly recommended :)

It is a little tough coming out of the packaging, but nothing some regular use can't sort out. Definitely feels nice and tight for the knife it's made for and it doesn't jiggle or rattle around once sheathed.

Good weight, nice size, out of the box sharp. Could be a bit sharper but I'm thankful it wasn't when I took it out as I might have had a nasty cut. Truly a beautiful piece and a welcome one to my collection. Only complaint, it did take a good while to properly wash it. I would recommend drying it off with a paper towel or cloth just to make sure it still isn't giving off any black residue. Thought I did a good job my first go but darkened the meat slightly as I cut through. 5 stars

This is one of the most robust tools that I've ever had in hand. The feel, weight, balance and heft are perfect for my hand. To be honest it is as if the blacksmith took measurements of my hand before forging this masterpiece.I have not had a chance to cook with it yet but I feel very comfortable in saying that this cleaver is more than fit for purpose. You will not be disappointed.

Really sharp, comfortable in the hand. Got my new pellet grill for Father's day, and my Coolina knives came a day or 2 later. Did a couple racks of ribs on the grill, and cut em up with the Coolinas, Great combination if you love to grill.

I grew up on kodiak island alaska,dad and i as a kid killed deer,moose,elk,carribu,all fowl ,had knives that were gerber etc,these knives are like pots and pans you hand down for generations,hold edge and get down to buisness,Ive harvested a lot of meat and still do smoked pork butts or briskett but these knives are great.
