Had to go out of town unexpectedly. Upon returning, I had fruit flies due to some bananas that had gone bad. I searched online and found the Shieldeck wall plug insect trap. I bought the 3 pack and plugged them in 3 areas. They worked! It was no time before the first few flies were trapped. Left them plugged in and they eliminated the problem. Thought they were expensive when I bought them, but they were well worth it. I definitely recommend this product! You won't be disappointed.

the item arrived as described. its smaller than i thought, which is a plus in my opinion. it takes very little space. the fan noise is very low. and the light has 2 functions which is effective in capturing different kinds of flies. i use it inside the house to remove small flying insects. overall very nice product.

Amazing product!!!! I use this for fungus gnats around my indoor plants and it’s shocking how many I find on the sticky paper. The ease of use on this was great literally put the paper in, plug in, and go. I kind of want one for each room I have plants now.

We got this to help with fruit flies in our house and it has been working wonderfully! Unlike other options we have tried it has been very quiet to the point that I don't even realize it's on. I like that it really worked. I used both inside a grow tent and in an open room. Works best at night with a dark room. Gnats are attracted to the blue light and inside they go and get stuck to the sticky paper. Definitely recommend.

I have to admit...I was skeptical... But it DOES WORK! Both tiny and large bugs are attracted to the little blue lights and then they get sucked into the pit and apparently do not know how to get out? I found gnats, mosquitos and even a big ol’ housefly in there. I originally got it because we had a couple little mosquitos floating about, but I figure it will be helpful the next time those pesky fruit flies come around...

UPDATE: I stated I'd update if it worked. I've had this unit on for about a week, and the fruit fly cloud has substantially lessened. There are a few holdouts. But I'm a lot happier now than I was. Making sure the room was darkened helped. I have a TV and a light in this room. But the bathroom of that room gets the most incredible light. So I shut the bathroom door more frequently. Then the gnats/fruit flies disappeared. Now I'm very happy with the product.

I was dubious until I opened it up and noticed all the fruit flies it had attracted. It captured a few terrible bugs, but largely fruit flies and gnats. Great! It will be fun to collect mosquitoes this summer. I ordered extra sticky traps, but they last a long time and work well! It's silent, and I keep mine in the dark part of my kitchen counter to catch flies.

The greatest stuff I've bought for fruit flies. But I've tried bait traps and sticky traps before. After just 4 days of utilizing it at night, my condition improved. My shelf goods and fruit were spoiling too quickly, and now I only notice one or two fruit flies before seeing 10-15 in one location. Buy this if you have a fruit fly issue.

Have had mine for 1 day. Extremely impressed. Just ordered another unit. I needed something to control fruit flies. Really wanted to avoid the bug spray insecticide if it was possible. I disagree with every bad review of this product. I've had it for 2 weeks, and it's amazing. After reading the reviews, I looked at the sticky pad and counted 33 gnats/fruit flies/mosquitoes/etc. Those suffering issues may not have it at the best or most crowded bug concentration. It works. Hasn’t caught many mosquitoes, but a lot of little bugs and some flies. I have it on while I am away from home and we’ll see what it does when I get back. I bought a couple read plates that are like this, and they have not worked as well. They are a lot cheaper, but they don’t work as well.

I've been using it for a week and keeping it on 24 hours per the seller's advice. It works; I sweep up 10-12 mosquitos every morning. Unless you have a lot of mosquitos, it will take a few days to see a difference. The vendor is beneficial.

WORKS! I just received it, and I'm ecstatic. I, like many of us, work from home today. My dog (bless him) runs from inside to outside all day, so I keep the slider open, so I don't have to let him out and back in 90 times. Thousands of little flies/gnats have gotten inside my plant box, driving me insane. I received it yesterday, plugged it in, and used it manually for 24 hours. The trap already has SIXTEEN bugs. Drain flies are caught! I hope the glue trap was better, or there was some zapping action as they flew into it. When I opened it to see how many bugs were inside, one was still hovering above the trap. Great auto mode! This device kills drain flies.

We've had difficulties with little flies (fruit flies) coming through our fish tank's filter for many years. Nothing worked until this glowtrap. We found about 50 dead flies on the sticky pad at the bottom of the trap. The flies are gone 95%.
