It has everything you need to complete it and it looks like there is plenty of thread included. The thread is easy to separate (I choose the cotton thread) and pulls through the canvas nicely. This is only my second cross stitch, having never tried before. The first was also a Prince picture, but was done by following a paper pattern and sewn onto blank fabric. This was far easier and quicker to do. I'm rather pleased with it. Having a bit of bother getting it to fit into a ready-made frame, because of the size, so am finishing it off with an extra border around the edge to accommodate. Well really detailed ,brilliant service. Basically you don't have to worry about buying anything else as everything is provided. The only thing as for beginners would be good to have more explanation what the soap looking vax is and the choices of 16 or 24 is. So 24 is how small the square are. I didn't know that so I bought it and now I will probably spend years of finishing this picture as the squares are tiny. I think 24 means 24 sqares for an inch. So 16 option would be much better for that...
