Not sure about green salt. Opened the bag and it is so powdery that it puffs out clouds green powder . The amount needed seems to parallel that of actual salt, but the flavor is definitely sea-weedy. I have used it on popcorn, sautéed vegetables and in salad dressing. I think after I adjust to its weirdness, it will be ok if used sometimes, but it will never be a total substitute for salt, especially if the taste of the green salt is not desired.
