Not sure about green salt. Opened the bag and it is so powdery that it puffs out clouds green powder . The amount needed seems to parallel that of actual salt, but the flavor is definitely sea-weedy. I have used it on popcorn, sautéed vegetables and in salad dressing. I think after I adjust to its weirdness, it will be ok if used sometimes, but it will never be a total substitute for salt, especially if the taste of the green salt is not desired.

It's perfectly fine for seasoning while cooking and at the table, but to be honest, it is just too expensive for me to use Green Salt regularly.

Way to expensive! Has an odd secondary taste. Not good for most foods but it is good on few things. Wont buy again.
