Played for the first time last night with my 7 yr old. We both LOVED the game. Played the std rules and he tracked pretty well. Well enough to smash me! Good round/turn structure, excellent pacing, loved the command slot options. Instruction book is clear with good examples to guide game play. Watching the YouTube play through video gave additional confidence but the instructions were plenty clear on their own. This game was an absolute hit with my 7 year old. The rules were simple enough for him to understand and he absolutely loved the molding and mashing. I even let him mash mine for me to keep him engaged. Such a unique and innovative idea. Look forward to more expansions.

Got this to play with my son. I'm not a big war gamer and I thought this would be a great way to get me and my 7-year-old into the mix. It was a little overwhelming for him, but we plan to try again later. Overall I love the presentation and quality of everything. We got all the series 1 stuff and it doesn't *quite* fit into the standard box, but otherwise I have no complaints.

Necromolds is a fun game for kids or grown-up kids. Its design is extremely tactile. Not only do you enjoy molding and smashing the monsters, but game rules also rely on tactile devices. For example, the game comes with a distance measuring tool. If you can touch a space with the tool from your monster, it can move there. If you can draw a straight line of sight to another monster with the tool, you can shoot it. It's that simple. This is truly elegant game design.

My son (7) and I have a great time playing this game. The simple rules make it very excisable and the squishing keeps his attention for the whole game. We each make six monsters as a house rule and finish in about 15 minutes. He always asks to play a second game. :O) Thanks for a great gaming experience with my son.

I played this with my friends, where we were all in our 30s...and we all had the "transport me back to when I was 6 years old on the couch" experience. None of us could stop laughing and yelling and making silly sounds. We immediately made plans to play again, we had such a good time. We liked especially that the rules could scale to how complex a game you wanted to play.

Such an easy to play just down right fun game. Absolute blast! Literally building your army and then smashing into battle. It doesn’t matter how old you are.

Lots of fun! We enjoy both the crafting and the game. Some of the rules are a bit convoluted without adding much to the gameplay, so we made a few simplified house rules that allow it to flow more easily for the younger players. Now my kids are really into it and having fun creating and smashing their self-made armies!

I love everything about this game but the only one thing is keeping me from giving it a 5star review is the tower from the call to arms expansion terrain the horns were to flimsy I had to use hobby clippers to cut the tips of the horns so it could fit

I'm having fun playing 2-player co-op games with the base box. You can use the enemy flowchart from the solo rules, but otherwise play using the standard rules, just taking turns between the (automated) enemy and your two players. You can either split the clay and gems or work together with one army. The rules are still balanced. I wish there were a little more to it, but I'm excited to try the expansion set. I wish the makers would share co-op rules for friends to play together non-competi...

Bought this as a gateway game for 40k with my kid. She's in love with the molds. Gameplay was alittle too crunchy for her. She's 7 so under the recommended age anyway. However this games excellent and I have played a few games already. 10/10 will be buying more sets and expansions

Very fun introduction to wargaming. Simple rules that let you get into the action quickly. The gem system is a very clever way to balance out someone gaining an advantage early that keeps the game. Interesting throughout.

This was a wonderfully modular game where getting to pick and choose the level of complexity rules you want to use. The childlike glee you get when you burn all your gems to land an artillery strike on a big enemy unit then physically smush it is amazing.

I was really , really hyped to pick up NecroMolds! I ended up picking up a battle box and two starter packs for me and my best friend! I'm planning to crack it open when we both meet up for Otakon! When I told him I got us NecroMolds to play he was very excited telling me he has originally backed it on Kickstarter but canceled because he wouldn't have anyone to play with! Well now we're gonna dive into it together!
