Love the tomahawk! First time for us to enjoy a tomahawk at home. We did a reverse sear in the BBQ grill. It was beautifully charred on the outside and medium pink on the inside. Really juicy, tender and flavorful. It was a nice treat for the family!

Tomahawk on a motorcycle! Brought my brother a steak from BC. Flew into Kitchener and brought this as a surprise for my brother. I didn’t know he rode his bike! Thank God for bungee cords!

These are beautiful, did the first one on the BBQ, seared in a cast iron pan with garlic butter. Then Grilled it (While I basted it with the cast iron pans butter regularly) I kept the temp in the BBQ pretty low. I grilled until I hit an internal Temp of around 90-95 degrees I shut off the BBQ and let it rest in the BBQ as it cooled! Served it on a huge cutting tray. It was so good! Did a Reverse sear. 30 mins in the smoker at 250 then seared on Lump Charcoal. Excellent flavor and tenderness!

The steaks were good, decent marbling. I bbq them at the same time. 1 was 3/4" thicker then the other which made for different cooking times. This was a disappointment. Otherwise the tenderness and flavour was very good.
