Buy the runner! Wish we did it sooner! Keith's step-by-step videos made the installation such an easy process. I always wanted a stair runner but the quotes we got were too expensive and I didn't think we could DIY because of the L-shape landing. This site is the ONLY one that makes the landing turn pieces for DIY-installation, which is key when installing a runner with a vertical pattern.

I have a house built in 1919 by the Consolidate Coal Company with White Oak that came from virgin timber. This was a "bosses" house. It wasn't for another couple of years that a railroad was built under Pine Mountain that the area timber could be harvested. So it is possible and maybe likely that the floors were in trees 300-400 years ago. So something this nice now has it's best covering in over 100 years!
