I just bought two of these smaller blankets. Because I think they'll be as effective as a fire extinguisher for small fires. Actually, the fire extinguishers I have are at least 10 years old so they're probably not going to work at all. These blankets don't need to be recharged and they won't spread chemicals that you then have to clean up after they put the fire out.

I am happy to have the fire protection sheets. Have not used them so I don't know how good they are yet. I am glad however that I have them in case of a fire on my stove or elsewhere.
