So you have to take it out of the red bag first before jerking the black handles down and out? If so, that should be stated in the instructions on the cover. That's one more step when you have an active fire and are functioning in Panic Mode.

I put one in my kitchen at home and one in my kitchen in my travel trailer. I think it will be more convenient to get to in a hurry than a fire extinguisher. I can always reach the extinguisher after using the blanket if necessary.

t is hard to write a review on something I haven't used and hope to never have to use. The blanket was purchased to have available just in case of a fire and the other blankets are to be gifted to family. I feel more comfortable with the blanket in handy reach.
