I use XO or VSOP Cognac for Old Fashions. This syrup saves me several steps and it tastes like I muddled and mixed the ingredients. Excellent!

It’s better than what I make at home, but I do prefer my old fashioned not to sweet. It’s more of a preference thing for me. I will have to try and adjust the syrup ratios better, but over all it’s good.

I love the flavor and it makes a great old fashioned. My only issue was the cap. As soon as I peeled off the plastic to open the bottle, the cap broke into several pieces. I had to use a wine stopped going forward. Not the worst thing, but rather annoying in the end.

It was good. At $32 a quart, I expected a happy ending, but it was a quality mixer. I drove home today thinking about it, though. When I got home, I boiled a quart of water, slowly added two cups of sugar, some xanthan, some bitters, and a squeeze of lemon and made something perfectly equivalent with less than $1 out-of-pocket. Come down on the price by a lot and I'll buy a couple each month. Regards, CLA

Shipping was great. Arrived very promptly. I would say this makes a much better Old Fashion than i would at home starting from scratch, though probably not as good as one you'd spend $12++ for in a nice bar with a knowledgeable bartender. Definitely worth the purchase price!

Unfortunately your process was slow... the product arrived very late...after the holidays when it was a gift. Fortunately my husband enjoys the syrup, but now he placed an order for the 3pack that shipped today! Your late offer will no longer benefit us. Product is great! Slow and late service not so much.....

I read reviews of customers time and time again not getting their orders shipped for weeks but I was hopeful it wouldn’t happen to us. It unfortunately did. The syrup is good the bitterness of the process is not worth it for us.

I love Proof syrup because not only does it have a great taste when mixed with premium bourbon but it’s easy to use! Takes me just a few seconds to mix my old fashioned right after work. Also, like to garnish with maraschino cherry’s soaked in moonshine for an extra kick!

My second order of 3 bottles was extremely late which was communicated as being due to high demand.....okay, somewhat understandable. I bought for my son in law who loves old fashions. I mixed it with Mezcal as I don't like Bourbon. It tasted good but was too difficult to get. I am hesitant to order again. My husband had to track down some owners to make sure we received the order. You need to work on your customer service and the response time. We did enjoy it once we finally received it.
