Unfortunately I am not one for overly sweet things and feel that this is just a slightly flavored simple syrup. 80% sugar and only 20% flavor. I am finding I only use a small amount of this and add bitters to try and balance out the sugar. With the over powering sugar it is hard to enjoy the spirits. Should be 30% sugar, 70% flavor, you can always add sugar if you like your drink to taste like candy.
