ordering and receiving were great. The Genie doesn't always seal. Pictures and instructions make it seem like you don't need the screw band but if I don't use my jars don't always stay sealed.

Well, it took a wee little bit of time to have my order processed & shipped, but it was fine. Very easy to charge & use. I had only one jar that didn't seal on the first time but 2nd time was perfect. What a work horse this thing is. Saved me time & money since I didn't need to purchase specialty bags or anything.

The Mason Genie is easy to use so, of course, I immediately sealed a bunch of jars containing seeds, nuts, raisins, and other foodstuff. The handy lid remover helps break the effective seal quickly and doesn’t damage the lid so it can be resealed. I’m glad I stopped procrastinating after months of considering buying it!
