Initially, the Mason Genie worked as expected, but after roughly one month of use it has become unreliable. It will operate, but often fails to create a proper seal. The lid frequently stays in the unit instead of sealing to the jar. I wanted to like this product, but the inconsistency makes it hard to trust.
